Another one for the collection, one I had never seen yet:
The Sorcerer's Apprentice
With Nicolas Cage.

Magick, action, cute moments, just a great movie!

I have possibly already mentioned this one, not sure.
Unstoppable - 2010
Denzel Washington & Chris Pine
The runaway train, based loosely on a true story.
I'd seen it before and it's really good.

So NOT the other movie with the same title with Wesley Snipes.

In the Blood
The first 15 mins I thought, maybe not for me. Then it got really intriguing and good.
Great fighting (Muay Thai etc) by the woman, but also the story.
I liked it a lot!

A trained fighter (Gina Carano) puts her deadly skills to work after her husband (Cam Gigandet) vanishes during their Caribbean honeymoon.

Final Score
A good movie where an entire soccer stadium is basically held hostage. David Bautista is in there with his niece.

There's a fighting scene between him and another dude, Martyn Ford. David Bautista, not small bloke with his 1.98m and muscles, looks small next to this Martyn Ford, who is even bigger, believe it or not. He stands a 2.04m tall and his muscles... they're scary! I think his upper arms are the same size as my thighs...

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous
Started watching this, an 8 episode series, animated.
It is really good! Amazingly good. It is by the makers of Jurassic Park/World so you have the same sounds and looks of the dinos which is also great.
They've even used certain elements of the movies but if you don't pay attention you likely miss it.

I've seen 3 so far.
I just hope they're not going to give us this instead of bringing us the real movies. This is great, and for them also a helluva lot cheaper to make I assume.
But since they cannot shoot anything due to the pandemic this is a great alternative.

This is not the topic for scary movies.
The Sixth Sense is a good movie. I may watch it again, when I've gone through my Jesse Stone movies :)

The A-Team (2010)
I had never seen it, somehow figured it'd be crap. But... it was remarkably good! And I liked that Liam Neeson played Hannibal. I never liked the original Hannibal.

A series, from Netflix and Russian and really good: To The Lake

If you're all upset about the current situation it's not a good one to watch right now as it's about a virus that's spreading very fast from Moscow and out, affecting people and they die shortly after infection.

A group of people that mostly didn't know each other before get together and decide to leave to go to an island in a lake where 1 has a cottage with all facilities.
Rogue military gathers people up in villages and kills them all, ill or not. Moscow is quarantined, no one in and out, panic everywhere. And what you get, normal people turning into total a-holes, plundering, robbing, killing if need be because they're in survival mode. (what a weird species we are still in that matter)
So this group has to make it out through all that mayhem, including cars breaking down, running out of petrol and so on.

I've seen 6 episodes of the 8 total and I got to say, it's good!
If this is the average level of Russian tv I want more of it :)

Finished the 8 episodes of season 1 of To The Lake and of course it ends on a cliffhanger, dammit!
It is likely being renewed but it will take quite some time for a season 2 to air on Netflix. It needs to be subbed too by Netflix.

How could you not like George Peppard?

AND I'll say it one more time; if you want a great series that's fact based and had excellent writers, it's also historic. One of these times someone will check it out and get hooked on it. 5 years on AMC completed their story and ended the show.
Hands down the best I've ever seen.

Oh, very easy. Not everyone likes an arrogant SOB. Liam Neeson on the other hand is great and very likable!

The A-team was incredibly popular here and they came over several times for the fans. All of them, except for Mr High and Mighty George Peppard.
Another reason to like him even less.

AND I'll say it one more time: the best series ever is Strike Back.

I did watch the original A-Team. believe it or not.

It was great! Me and my friends watched every episode of it.
If you liked it, maybe try the movie. I was reluctant about it at first, but damn was it good!
There's a short scene where Face is entering a wellness room with solar thingies, another man gets up to walk away and this is Dirk Benedict, the old Face. That's funny. I like that kind of humour.

A series Somewhere Between - 2017 - 10 episodes

Really interesting series so far! The first episode I was about to switch it off as it seemed uninteresting, then something happened which is what it all evolves around.
In a way to do with going back 8 days in time and then trying to prevent what happened the first time around, only to find time and again it's not working out.
But if she doesn't succeed she will lose her little daughter again.
2 episodes in it seems really worthwhile.

Greenland
A movie about a disaster, a large piece of a comet hitting the earth. I totally loved it!
With Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin.

Watching the series Tour of Duty

Talk about regurgitating the old... it started in 1987 when I was still living abroad!
Last episode was aired in 1990.

I've always loved this series!
