Series The Fugitive - 2020 with Kiefer Sutherland, this time not in a hero role.
There are some 10 episodes of approx 7 mins each, so it's a good hour.
I liked it!

Someone wrongfully accused and having to run with police detective Kiefer and his team on his heels.

Flatliners, the original one.
I'd not seen it since way back when, and I did of course remember what they set out to do, and that at some point it almost went horribly wrong. But I couldn't recall anything else so it was like watching a new movie.
And I must say, damn, it's a bloody good movie!
It deserves way more than its 6,6 rating!

The Three Musketeers - 1993
I had forgotten how much fun it was, haha. Oliver Platt is great, made me laugh many times.

As I've mentioned here before; the 5 year AMC series "Hell On Wheels", hands down the best series ever!

The last I've watched (both excellent); "Ozark" and "Designated Survivor".

Don't watch TV much anymore; how does the "Servant" series compare to hell on wheels?

The Bourne series is good for constant action.

The Bourne series is indeed great!
We need more of that kind of movie.

Hi There was a good Sci fi series on Netflix called Darc. It was German with English subtitles if you don't mind that it was very complex and involved time travel. It got increasingly complex over three series but was an excellent watch. Pretty dark though as the title suggests!

I'll check that out, thanks for the suggestion!
I had wanted to watch it a while ago but couldn't find it anywhere :/ So I guess if there's 3 seasons now it won't be a problem anymore.

47 Ronin - 2013 with Keanu Reeves
What a great movie!! Inspired by a true story.
The end made me cry.

When in my 20s I took an interest in Japanese culture, I had great respect for it. In that sense it's odd that I never watched this movie before.

Run, Hide, Fight has to do with a school shooting and the acceptance of a mother's death. It was waaaay better than I thought it would be.

Outside The Wire a war based science fiction movie with an Ai cyber soldier who gains the freedom to act on his own volition. Lots of over-the-top action fighting and gunplay. Backstory of global nuclear destruction by a renegade faction. Another waaaay better than I expected film.

Harpoon is a horror/thriller about three friends stranded on a boat.
Also was waaaay better than I expected. It asks the question 'How far would you go to survive'? The twist at the end was unexpected.

Space Sweepers was much better than I thought it would be. A joint South Korean/US movie which involves a young girl with special powers, a ruthless overlord hellbent on Earth's destruction and a lowly clan of space junk salvagers. Way more action sequences and great special effects.
The copy I saw didn't have Korean parts subtitled but even tho I didn't understand some of the dialog, the action and acting kept me interested. If you can, try to find one with subtitles for the non-english speaking parts to get the 'full' effect of the story.

Lost in Space (new version).
I didn't know season 2 had been released and I had not seen it yet. I decided to watch season 1 first.
Nearly finished the last episode of the second season. I cannot wait for season 3 now!!

The Invasion - 2007
Daniel Craig, Nicole Kidman

An alien virus infected most of the population turning people in beings without emotions, and chasing after the few that are still normal.

Quite an impressive movie.

All 3 Jumanji movies.
L.A. Confidential.
The Bank Job. That had Jason Statham in it.
Heist. Gene Hackman, I like most of the movies he made.
Runaway Train.
Unstoppable.
The Getaway. Both versions.
Sahara. The one with Matthew MaConaughey, but I also liked the one with Humphrey Bogart.
U571
Flight of the Phoenix. Both of those.
All of the goofy Tremors movies.
Them!
The Shawshank Redemption. Both had James Whitmore in it.

^^^^^ I watched Sahara with Matthew McConaughey.
Thanks for the suggestion!

OT - King Kong 2005
It was good but also over 3 hrs. So I skipped a part. 3.20hrs is too much for me.
Kind of a mix with King Kong and Jurassic Park, then King Kong in NY.

Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrian Brody.

I just got Chaos Walking; A dystopian world where there are no women and all living creatures can hear each other's thoughts in a stream of images, words, and sounds called Noise. Stars: Tom Holland (avengers/spiderman), Daisy Ridley, DemiΓ‘n Bichir
Its on deck to watch soon.

Others I just got which I'm waiting to see (currently watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer season 6)

Flora & Ulysses; The adventures of a young girl and a squirrel with superpowers. Stars: Matilda Lawler, Alyson Hannigan (willow on buffy), Ben Schwartz

Sensation; When a lowly postman is inducted into a top-secret superhuman DNA program at a research facility, it's revealed that he'll be able to receive, control and send information based on the senses of others. Stars: Eugene Simon, Emily Wyatt, Jennifer Martin

Plus a few horror and lo-budget flicks.
One starring Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo withg a current IMdb rating of 2.5 called Cosmic Sin; Seven rogue soldiers launch a preemptive strike against a newly discovered alien civilization in the hopes of ending an interstellar war before it starts.
Anything for Jackson; a horror flick with a 6.4 rating; A bereaved Satanist couple kidnap a pregnant woman so they can use an ancient spellbook to put their dead grandson's spirit into her unborn child but end up summoning more than they bargained for. Stars: Sheila McCarthy, Julian Richings, Konstantina Mantelos

The Shawshank Redemption - 1994
I stumbled upon it and since I hadn't seen it since way back when I decided to watch it. Hotdangit, what a good movie! I think I now appreciated it even more than first time.
I've never come across any movie with a 9,3 rating either.

And of course the end makes me cry.

11.22.63 series
Absolutely amazing! Very much worth watching.

A man allows himself to be persuaded to go back in time to change an important event in US history.
He does this, which takes 3 years as he cannot choose the point in the past so he has to wait for that specific date to arrive.
Then he comes back to the present day to see the outcome.
