Topic: good action & thriller-like series & movies? | |
---|---|
Hoping to get some inspiration out of you guys! I'm stuck with things to look and cannot find anything either.
I'm not into romance series, comedy, nor drama. I love action, thrillers, historical, and specific sci-fi thingies. Su(ker for disaster movies, lol. Anyone got recommendations? No romance, drama, comedy, certainly NOT comic book. Few suggestions of mine; - 9-1-1 series - Outlander (okay, romance, but also history, love that) - Siren - Seal Team - Last Ship - Taboo - Lost in Space (new series) - The Rain - Knightfall |

Have you seen 'The Martian' with Matt Damon?
Wonderful movie (2015 I think)! One of those you can watch over and over again ;-) |

Thank you all for your contributions!
Surprised to see "Paul" in there, Tom. Don't know if this is your own list or from the net. I like "Paul", happened to DL it last year. Absolutely funny movie! Planet of the Apes... I watched those the other day. It never appealed to me, but I was stuck for something to watch, so I thought what the heck. And pleasantly surprised, I loved them! I found a few more series to check out, not sure yet if they're any good: The OA Bull Shooter |

I just saw Equalizer two and it was a good action/suspense film.
I mostly watch comedy on streaming( I dont watch TV/cable) But I do like the Marvel series: Punisher, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron fist, Daredevil. The fight choreography is amazing on those shows. Shooter with Ryan Phillipe was another decent action/suspense series. |

Don't know if this is your own list or from the net.
My own list. I used a few different lists to compose this list. Selected from different folders I have on my computer. Keep folder = movies I always keep on my computer because I really like the films Watch folder = films I have seen less than 3 times or have not seen yet Old favs = films that are one ups with no sequels or prequels that I like Retro = very old films (+20 years) that I like Plus I have a notepad with a listing of all my movie sets and TV series that are completed. (still working on it) I also have a list of films to find which grows more than it shrinks. When I watch TV shows, I binge watch the complete seasons. I won't watch the first episode of a season till I have the last episode and everything between. It makes it hard to participate at the TV show sites I go to when they are discussing mid season episodes. |

It makes it hard to participate at the TV show sites I go to when they are discussing mid season episodes. I also prefer to watch series that have been running for at least 2-3 seasons. One reasons is that I can keep watching without having to wait and/or search for something else to watch all the time. Another is that those stupid networks tend to cancel many great series after 1 season, which is horribly annoying. As it is, I've kind of gone through most everything I like since I watch quite a lot of episodes in the evenings. There's a number of series I've watched a few times, like Flashpoint and Strike Back. I also like to keep a number of movies on my PC, but of late have had to delete a lot as I now am recording so many vids for my coaching that I need to keep and back up on external HD that I was running out of space. Need to get me a 4TB external. Currently watching Dr Who with Peter Capaldi, gotten to episode 5. Not too impressed. It feels to me the series is now carried more by Clara than the Doctor. Never seen a 'weaker' doctor than this one. Hopefully it will improve, somehow it lacks fluency. |

Never seen a 'weaker' doctor than this one. Hopefully it will improve, somehow it lacks fluency. Here are two streaming sites for TV shows that I use. Load up a few episodes in tabs in your browser. Start them then pause the stream so it can buffer. By the time you are done watching the first tab, the rest will be buffered and it requires no downloading. http://www.watchepisodeseries.com/ If you sign in, you can track the shows you are watching and it tells you when a new episode is available. https://www1.swatchseries.to/ This one has many older shows. If you're looking for a specific movie use https://ololo.to/ Just type the IMdb title name and hit enter - it will ask you to confirm you are not a bot then will give you a list of streams. Same thing, let it buffer a bit before you play it. There's also https://www.solarmoviez.stream/ https://openloadmovies.net/ https://www.sonycrackle.com/movies |

Thanks, Tom!
Good to have some extra sites :) |

No worries, I moderate at a few movie sites where I look for streaming links for people.
Just today I posted around 30 family/kids movies for a woman. I used 8 different streaming sites to find her multiple streams to choose from. All in all, I have about 45 sites bookmarked. |

Yesterday a guy asked me if I could find him a clean streaming copy of Skyscraper.
This is what I posted (URLs automatically become links at that site) ololo.to/s/skyscraper+(2018) streamdreams.org/movies/skyscraper www.speedvid.net/zfbbb43ukhoj vshare.eu/pfgqgo4fnfcz.htm streamango.com/f/essnfbfmopcaleas/Skyscaper_2018_HC_HDRip_XviD_AC3-EVO_mp4 estream.xyz/k6yw62ep2wkb.html clipwatching.com/ff7ms1p3gr0k/Skyscaper.2018.HC.HDRip.XviD.AC3-EVO.mp4.html |

That gives me all the action and suspense and even a little sarcastic comedy I can handle. love most of the ones posted also Started watching Justified. I believe I had watched an episode before and didn't really like it. This Western / cowboy / redneck stuff is not really for me, but it is tolerable, haha. Something to watch when I run out of better options. |
