So far quite good, but one of these movies where you wonder why she just doesn't tell her husband what happened. It'd make things a helluva lot easier to deal with and would remove the manipulation aspect right away. AND it wouldn't put her man in dangerous situations with a nutter.

A nice movie, no huge highs or lows but I kept watching anyways. Then there was the surprise at the end which I had not seen coming.
I sat here crying my eyes out, thinking, "See, this is how it goes!"

Mulan 2020
What can I say? Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!
One of the best movies I've seen in quite a while.
I'm completely taken with this movie. I loved the martial arts, the story of a woman having to pretend to be a man in order to do what she does best and what makes here happy.
Then they throw in a Phoenix... Oh man, I'm so sold, haha.
Seriously, you do not want to miss this movie! And you won't regret watching it.
I don't know how the story and events compare to the 90s Mulan movie. I cannot recall.
But who cares. Watch it!

Yup, I have Mulan in my watch list.
I've read nothing but good about it.

Another great movie! Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges and Ben Barnes. Never had heard of the latter but he was great.

it was excellent. however if you have read the book, forget every thing you read.
it does not follow it at all.having said that though i thoroughly enjoyed it.

I never read the books, in spite of liking Stephen King's work a lot at the time.
I bought part 1 but couldn't get through it so I put it away. Maybe now I would enjoy them.
The movie is great! I loved it and do not understand why there is not going to be a next part. Maybe because it deviates from the book and thus people were disappointed?

Sticking it here, even though it's not straight action but I had also asked for history based stuff and that this is. There is action, but since the main characters are kids... don't expect Jet Li type of stuff.

The Kid Who Would Be King
Based on the Arthurian legend which I love! And having watched the trailer first, it was actually a quite good watch.
And it had Stonehenge as a portal, Tintagel, Glastonbury Tor. Really cool!
As long as you're sitting down to watch a family/adventure movie and not a creepy thriller/action, you'll enjoy it!

We laughed, a lot!

Started a for me new series The Good Wife.
And I have to say, I'm hooked! I hope they don't F it up with drama that is totally irrelevant as they so often do after a number of episodes.
So far it's brilliant!

Alicia Florrick deals with life and caring for her two children after her husband Peter, a former state's attorney, is imprisoned for a sex and corruption scandal.
She's a lawyer herself and starts working as such to make a living now that he's in prison.
