Topic: Another senseless shooting! | |

Annapolis, Maryland . At least 5 dead, several injured. Before anybody lays blame on one side or the other lets wait for the facts. The target it seems was the Capitol gazette newspaper. Let's not stoop to the blame game as the media does.

Well said-everyone THINK before you POST. We don't know if it was a case of disgruntled employee, a jilted husband, or any of 100 other scenarios.

Lets talk about those hero cops, they were there in 90 seconds after the first shot was fired, stormed the building captured the gunman and paraded people to safety.
To the brave men and women in uniform down there , thank you. To the brave law enforcement out there , except Broward County. Thank you. |

The Maryland man accused of blasting his way into a newspaper office and killing five staff members with a shotgun appeared to have a longstanding grudge over a 2011 column that reported his guilty plea to criminal harassment, court records show. "This was a targeted attack on the Capital Gazette," Deputy Anne Arundel Police Chief Bill Krampf said Thursday. "He entered the building with a shotgun, and he looked for his victims as he walked through the lower level." Jarrod Ramos, 38, was charged Friday with five counts of first-degree murder after the Thursday afternoon shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Maryland's capital of Annapolis. Ramos was not cooperating with law enforcement. ****************************** All started over a piece that was published about him and his record...He wanted it removed from the site ect Even sued the paper and lost over it.. Due to the Judge said he did not prove what was said was a lie... Again when you plaster all over about someone that already has a criminal record you take the chance of them flipping due to all the back lash they will receive.. Sad for sure... Kuddos to the Police Officers that took down the situation... |

there was a guy here last week that beat up his wife.. she ran out and called the cops. and he held his 1 year old kid hostage with a knife in the house.. The cops tried to talk him out for over 2 hours. The citizens present said the cops were pleading with him.. begging the guy to bring the kid out safely. That everything would be o.k. No good, he got more agitated.
Finally they stormed the house and shot and killed him. The ironic thing about this is that it goes down in the state and federal logs as " a police shooting" and unless you drill into it, it shows as the police shot and killed a man... not why they did it. |

Let's not stoop to the blame game as the media does. Lay the dead right at Donny's feet. It's pretty much what's been all over the news this morning, literally on every channel, (except Fox, of course.) All the cries of "fake news", and the media being the "enemy of the people", it was inevitable that sooner or later, one of his cult members would do this. |

I think I explained after the statement.
Who invented the phrase "fake news"? And who's stated more than once in his addresses to his cult, that "the press is an enemy of the people"? In fact, you would be better off trying to reach the summit of Mount Everest without oxygen, then trying to locate any president in this country's history that has railed against a Free Press. I don't know how it is in Canada, but in the United States, a free and open press is the only job that's protected by the United States Constitution. |

I don't know how it is in Canada, but in the United States, a free and open press is the only job that's protected by the United States Constitution. while that might be true, today's news and media are far from being unbiased. In Canada freedom of the press exists except when you reporting on Islam, French Canada and native Canadians, every thing else is fair game. I cannot find an independent news source today, I have to look at every news media from left to right because no one is unbiased today. If you find a so called independent source they are usually backed by a rich leftists or a rich rightist. the grass root ones needs donors to survive and they start off independent until they get a following and then gets swallowed up by some competitor looking to expand. 98% of the media today are not unbiased. |

If I say someone should be killed, and I keep saying it, until someone is actually killed...
I'm just as responsible for the death, as the person that pulled the trigger. And so it is with Donnie. |

And so it is with Donnie. so by that logic If I said all rapists, child molesters should be killed and they are killed that I should be charged with their deaths? Where did Trump say so and so should be killed? |

First, that was only an analogy.
Second, Donnie likes to do what people call "dog whistles". Normal people don't hear it, but his cult members (a.k.a. his "base".) hear just fine. It was inevitable. It was only a matter of time before one of his cult members acted on his orders. so by that logic If I said all rapists, child molesters should be killed and they are killed that I should be charged with their deaths?
If they say that they set about to kill as many rapists, and child molesters as they could, because you told them to. Whether you explicitly said it or not, who's door do you believe the police knock on next? |
