Topic: Another senseless shooting! | |

so this is your excuse for him being in the car with the other thugs , fear he felt because of his situation in the neighbourhood? I know? Right? Might be hard to even IMAGINE from a place where you were able to travel so frequently between Canada and America. But yeah, many kids are in communities where they fear being harmed if they dont go along, either with thugs out of uniform or in them... So, is the solution to let them run free? run free? what are you talking about? This kid was an honors student in his last year of high school, volunteering summers, sounds like someone trying to do better for himself he deserved to be as 'free' as anyone else.... He was running from the police.....do you remember that? yeah .. AND? he was in a car that had guns in it .... like I said, a scared teen trying to run,, not death penalty worthy... Scared of going to jail. |

Just because you are poor, it doesn't mean you have to be a thug. I took teenagers to a state park yesterday because it's only $5 to park. Today, they are staying home and watching movies until church. Being poor isn't an excuse to commit crimes. no, but being scared is a reason to survive the best you can ... the scared kid had no control of where he lived, he did have control over what he did about his future, WHICH he was trying to do something about by his HONORS status in school and his VOLUNTEERING to help others every summer. He had the choice to be fearful of what 'thugs' may do if he didn't ride along versus keeping his mouth shut and his head above ground. its not a choice ANY teen should have to make. but it is a damn shame, that in trying to avoid being done by someone in the street, he ended up having the deadly threat be a TRAINED, COMPENSATED adult with a badge and a gun. Being with the wrong people is not a reason to kill teens, never will be, especially not when they are running in fear away from you. |

No one should shoot another. Person in the back, that goes for the Police too.
Unless it is self defense! Get it!!!! |

People who live in these crime infested communities might feel different. Once upon a time police didn't go into these communities. They just let them rob, kill, rape, and sell drugs. Now they complain when one of them gets killed. If people want to live like animals, then stop calling the police.

And where is the sanity in trying to fight a dirty cop? |

If you can make all that happen, I only have one question... Can I have a unicorn for my birthday? |

yeah, and even if he wasnt 'smart' enough ,... STILL not justification to shoot a kid in the back ... sorry I guess Im looking at the big picture. |

yeah, and even if he wasnt 'smart' enough ,... STILL not justification to shoot a kid in the back ... sorry I guess Im looking at the big picture. dont be sorry. I am too. There is no reason to ASSUME a kid is dispensable enough to shoot them in the back when they run in fear, from you, from a cop, from their parents .... it doesnt matter kids are kids, they get scared they do silly things, but if they have not THREATENED you and are fearful enough to run away, it doesnt then give someone carte blanche to shoot them down. |

If you can make all that happen, I only have one question... Can I have a unicorn for my birthday? lol. it already happens for PLENTY of people, which is why they cant believe it ever DOESNT happen for others. That's one take on it, the sunshiny take on it... Then there's the other side. Which seems to be more evident. They simply don't care. In their version of Marie Antoinette, it's not "let them eat cake", it's "let them eat lead". They're "thugs", "animals", and "an infestation". They are beneath them. To these people, they are insignificant, they're not even human beings. So they don't deem them worthy of any compassion or understanding. I was talking to a friend one time, that happened to be Jewish. We were discussing what the thought process was for a camp guard, that could feed people into the ovens all day, and then go home, kiss his wife, and play with his children. My friend told me: "the first step, is to dehumanize them. They don't see them as people, so it's not that much different than someone working at a slaughterhouse. Nobody cares about the cow, as long as they get their hamburger." I think we're seeing the same dynamic here |

More like counting tax $$ saved from housing his *** in prison for the rest of his life. broken record ... I hope no one ever puts a dollar sign on what your kids futures are 17, honors student, volunteer, You have NO clue what future he might have had.. just more bigoted justification of Hitlerish proportions ... |

Maybe he wasn't.
Maybe he was hanging out with the only kids in the neighborhood there were his own age. |
