There's only two commandments that a Christian must follow. Love God with all your heart, mind and soul. Love your neighbor as yourself.

It's so simple.

if I loved my neighbour as I wish she would love me, then I would be already in jail.

Or if my neighbour were male, then Leviticus himself could not pull God's commandment out of that ideological-moral-religious-decree of a shlamastic himself.

Luckily I ate all my neighbours, after killing them, so I won't have to go to hell due to Leviticus' Challenge at all.

You see, you can't love your neigbour until first you learn how to love yourself, and if you follow that advice, you run the risk of becoming blind.

That is why my parents cruelly beat me every time they caught me playing with my dong in bed, after about the age of thirteen up to thirty-seven, when I got my first girlfriend.

And perhaps that, in turn, is the reason for leaving posts in a style of writing like I am in the habit of doing.

Why didn't god think of that when he was dictating the stone tablets to Mozes?

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

WTF...??? all the prophets were hanged? It's news to me. Is this in the bible? Funny, in my Sunday School tutorials with the TA and sometimes with the Reader of Arameic Runes on Fridays we never cover'd this.

There is no possible way to go to jail for loving someone. No one said anything about anything sexual. Love and sex are completely two different things. The only coalition they even have with one another, is sex is a possible way to express that love with your loved one. But outside of that, love and sex have absolutely nothing to do with one another. So no, loving your neighbor, doesn't mean to screw your neighbor, so no there would be no possible way for you or anyone to go to jail for loving your neighbor.

It's an expression wux. God isn't telling us to physically hang anyone.

For what it is worth, I am not happy with the way that some churches approach the issue of homosexuality, because they offer no message of hope to people with homosexual feelings.

My online book has chapter titled "Hard Questions About Christianity". Here is an excerpt from it:

7. Can a person be both a homosexual and a Christian?

Answer: Yes.

According to the New Testament, a person has salvation if that person confesses that Jesus is LORD and believes that God the Father has raised Jesus from the dead. Nowhere does the New Testament say that a person has to be a heterosexual in order to obtain salvation. When Jesus died on the Cross, he paid for the sins of heterosexuals and homosexuals alike. Thus, God’s gift of eternal life is available to both heterosexuals and homosexuals.

This is why I do not approve of what happened in that church incident mentioned in the OP.

Luke 24:47
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 33:11
11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2 Peter 3:9
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Matthew 3:8
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance

Matthew 11:20
20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not

And last but not least, I think this last verse hits it on the head of what I'm saying with these verses. "Repentance for the remission of sins".

Mark 1:4
4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

God offers forgiveness of our sins, but not on a level of going out to murder someone, then asking for forgiveness, then turning right around and doing it again, then asking for forgiveness. Then turning around and doing the same thing. And not even on the high level of murdering someone, but sin in general. Stealing, lying, ect.

John 8:1-11/ I do agree that when asking for forgiveness Jesus states that ye should go forth in forgiveness and sin no more. In that, going into repeat offense and asking for forgiveness makes your case weakened in the asking. I do not know that if committing a repeat offense such as in prostitution for example before asking for forgiveness is unforgivable or even murder.

1Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Ephesians 1:1-7; Here is where I disagree because the lord never said what sin would be forgiven and which wouldn't. He never said what degree of sin was greater or lesser. He, also, never said a sin was unforgiveable. He did say he forgave and to go forth and sin no more.

1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Oh absolutely, no one is judging anyone else here. Only spreading the knowledge of the information we have on the subject. Nobody is condemned, not homo's, not those that hate, not anyone. Thus we have a "judgement". The only unforgivable sin there is, is denying the Lord thy God. We already have been told what the outcome of that judgement is eg., deny me before man, I will deny you before the father. BUT, just because someone deny's the Lord today, doesn't mean they will tomorrow. And to receive forgiveness of something, one would repent. Thus the changing of view would be their repent, thus they would receive forgiveness through the grace of God.

Amen, "forgiveness" isn't given or needed until judgement day. There is no need for forgiveness until that day, for before that day you there is no need to be forgiven of anything, for you are not being "accussed" of anything so to speak. So today someone may deny the Lord thy God, but tomorrow find him. If he repents of his once committed sin eg., denying the lord thy God, he will be forgiven. To receive forgiveness one must repent from that which they are asking forgiveness of. For if they do not repent, their asking for forgiveness is in vein. It's not truly sought after.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:1-7; Here is where I disagree because the lord never said what sin would be forgiven and which wouldn't. He never said what degree of sin was greater or lesser. He, also, never said a sin was unforgiveable. He did say he forgave and to go forth and sin no more.

Matthew 10
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Denying Jesus is saying dont believe in Jesus, in which case he will deny your existence. Of course an individual may not believe in Jesus Christ upon committing sin but later comes to believe and asks for forgiveness through Jesus Christ would then be forgiven. It still doesnt say if you have committed murder or whatever other sin, you will not be forgiven. It say to come unto him and ask forgiveness and it shall be gien through Jesus Christ.

God has given someone their entire life, to repent from their sins and work on being stronger with the guidance of God. If one was judged when the action was committed the world wouldn't "fill" as fast, and God has told us "Be fruitful and fill the Earth". Thus why I do believe that specific thing is different in the covenant we're under now, then the old covenant when people where judged for their actions on Earth.

Im a Christian and you can call me a hypocrite all you want to...

but I dont care, who does what, with who, in the privacy, of their own home.

Nor do I feel that sex is only for reproduction. It is also to express love.

Nor go I think its a sin, even though it is written so in the bible.

If you can find love, in this great big, messed up, confusing, and huge world,

I dont give a rats a** who you choose to be with and love,

I believe the only important thing, is that in all of this you actually managed to FIND love,

and good for you!

Our job as Christians is show the love of Jesus to the world, so that more people will come to him. It doesn't matter if homosexuality is a sin, we are all sinners. We should bring more people into the fold and let God transform them if He so chooses.

Judge not lest ye be judged

St. Matthew 7:1-6

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mk. 4.24

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

What really gets me too is.....the most often quoted passage related to homosexuality being forbidden, is in the OLD TESTAMENT, you know that part of the Bible that had its' laws supposedly abolished by Jesus dying on the cross? It's the same part of the Bible that forbids you to eat shellfish, or mix clothing types among other things. But I don't see either of those being obeyed by do you?

If the passage related to homosexuality is still a valid law.......it would stand to reason all the other Old Testament laws are still valid as well. And if they're NOT, then neither is that one. You can't pick and choose here, make up your minds, are we under Old Testament law or not? If we are, you better be upholding all the other laws mentioned, and if we're not you owe all gay people an apology for wrongfully judging them.

Either way, you got some explaining to do to someone.

in the song the little boy references to romans 1:27 (new testament)
(king james version of romans 1:27)
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is shameful, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was fitting.

In a related story...........

'Serpent-Handling' West Virginia Pastor Dies From Snake Bite

A "serpent-handling" West Virginia pastor died after his rattlesnake bit him during a church ritual, just as the man had apparently watched a snake kill his father years before.

Pentecostal pastor Mark Wolford, 44, hosted an outdoor service at the Panther Wildlife Management Area in West Virginia Sunday, which he touted on his Facebook page prior to the event.

"I am looking for a great time this Sunday," Wolford wrote May 22, according to the Washington Post. "It is going to be a homecoming like the old days. Good 'ole raised in the holler or mountain ridge running, Holy Ghost-filled speaking-in-tongues sign believers."

Robin Vanover, Wolford's sister, told the Washington Post that 30 minutes into the outdoor service, Wolford passed around a poisonous timber rattlesnake, which eventually bit him.

"He laid it on the ground," Vanover said in the interview, "and he sat down next to the snake, and it bit him on the thigh."

Vanover said Wolford was then transported to a family member's home in Bluefield about 80 miles away to recover. But as the situation worsened, he was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The end of the above story portrays the real irony - as a last resort, forget divine intervention and seek medical attention from other humans.

All we see is the scriptures thrown around here to justify judging another's action...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...is all we were asked to do.

We can't love each other while judging their lifestyle choices.

The first of all the commandments is...thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these (Mk. 12:29-31).

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite-fully use you, and persecute you (Mt. 5:44).

He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat [food], let him do likewise (Lk. 3:11).

Be ye...merciful as your Father also is merciful (Lk. 6:36).

If he [your brother] trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (Lk. 17:4).

This is my [Jesus'] commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you (Jn. 15:12).

Let love be without dissimulation [hypocrisy] (Rm. 12:9a).

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality (Rm. 12:10-13).

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not (Rm. 12:14).

If thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head (Rm. 12:20).

Salute [greet] one another with an holy kiss (Rm. 16:16a).

Ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another (Gal. 5:13).

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted (Gal. 6:1).

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2).

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith (Gal. 6:10).

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another (Eph. 4:31-32).

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love (Eph. 5:1-2a).

Salute [greet] every saint in Christ Jesus (Php. 4:21a).

Put on...bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity [love]...And let the peace of God rule in your hearts...and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another...And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him (Col. 3:12-17).

Let brotherly love continue (Heb. 13:1).

See that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently (1 Pet. 1:22b).

Be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful [sympathetic], be courteous: not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing (1 Pet. 3:8-9).
