All Arab countries combined are 650 times the size of Israel. It boggles the imagination that people believe this tiny country, which is 8 times smaller than the state of Florida, is the source of the problems in the Middle East.

82% of the World's Jews live in the USA or Israel. The world is a very hostile place for Jews and they have voted with their feet to live in the two freest countries in the world.

Palestinian Arabs were given 77% of the British Mandate (which had been part of the Ottoman empire), while Jews were only given 23%, more than half of it desert. The Jews gladly accepted, they were trilled to be able to return to their ancestral homeland. The Palestinian Arabs objected (although 100,000 Jews lived in the area prior to and during WWI), they felt the Jews should be kicked out of the Middle East completely and Arabs should receive all of the land. Their feeling was that the Jews should be kicked out of their homes (even those who were born, lived and worked in Palestine) and have their land taken from them. The Jews were perfectly happy taking 23% of the land (at least 50% of which was desert), leaving 77% with the Arabs, but the Palestinian Arabs felt that any land deal should give 100% of the land to the them. In the end, Israel took the deal and had to fight a war against six nations in order to claim their tiny piece of the world. Israel's existence is a miracle in itself.

I'm happy for all my Jewish brothers and sisters to have a home in this hostile world. Not just Israel, but here in the USA. God bless.

I don't support sending Jews to the concentration camp they are calling "Israel" -- therefore I appose Zionism which is a political movement to force, scare, convince and even bribe Jewish people to move to Israel. Zionism has been at work persecuting Jews all over the world to force and scare them into moving to Israel. Zionism is behind the persecution of Jews, they just don't realize it.

with half as many people and one fourth the land, I dont see palistine as being a likely aggressor OVER Israel

You can have your own opinion, but not your own facts. Israel is under near constant bombardment by missiles from Palestine.

I want the Jews to be able to live where ever they want. 40% of the world's Jews live in the USA. 42% live in Israel. 18% live in the remainder of the world. I would love for the 18% of the Jews outside the USA and Israel to come to the USA, but I'm sure many of them are perfectly happy where they are.

If they (Israel) are under "constant" bombardment (which I doubt) I'm sure it is because they are angry about what Israel has done to them and taken from them and about all the 1000's of political prisoners they have in their jails.

If they are surrounded by enemies on all sides, I would think that they made a bad choice to want to live there in the first place. When you move into a new neighborhood you don't start feuding with your neighbors right off and taking their homes away from them by force.

Why didn't the Jewish people just integrate into the land peacefully with all the other people instead of pushing the natives out and taking their land via conquest and war?

A wall could easily be a self made prison, keeping people in. That is what the Berlin wall did.

I would be very nervous if I was Jewish moving into a country surrounded by a wall. Very nervous indeed.

You know what makes me sad? It's that you have the whole of the internet at your fingertips and you refuse to google the subject. Your supposed love for the Jews doesn't extend to learning a little bit about Israel? And not only are you too lazy to find out if they are subject to rocket attacks, but you also offer a justification for the rocket attacks that you doubt are happening. You are justifying the murder of innocent Israelis.

I also admire the Jews and their homeland in Israel.

They have re-created a beautiful country there despite the
hostility of their neighbors. It is a safe, welcoming, religiously
tolerant, scientifically advanced, artistic oasis of refinement
among an all to often backwards and regressive theocratic Arab
governments.

Israel is a jewel and a country which is worthy of emulation.
