Topic: Where in the Genesis is Jesus - part 2 | |
---|---|
I personally didn't do it, it has always been that way. The Lord THY God. Luke 4:12 12And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Cowboy...see how you now try to run...it was you that ran to Satan's dictionary and claim that God is a "title of authority" ..now you are trying to blame Jesus ....no where in that verse you provided does Jesus say anything about God meaning title of Authority Of course not, Jesus is not a dictionary. Jesus used words that he knew we knew or knew we should know the meaning of. Jesus never refer to God as being "persons" when it came to God...but yet for some odd reason you see fit to do so He didn't use the specific words no, because the language between now and then has change dramatically. But he did refer to them all as separate "persons". This can be seen again in verses such as when he was on the cross he said "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do". Jesus was speaking to the father as another being then he himself. Because if he wasn't speaking as such, he would have been speaking vein words to himself. you're still trying to blame Jesus....where is a passage in the bible where Jesus refer to The Father as "persons" .... Blame Jesus for what? He didn't specifically. Again, you have to understand the language difference between now and then. You're separating the people of this world from God the father, making us a different "being, a different species so to speak" We are created in God's image. We are children of God the father, not a separate creation. |

That is because The Word didn't become flesh to dwell among us until. The word wasn't flesh or a "MAN" until the time John 1:14 happened. John 1:14 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. that passage is not from Genesis ....that is why some would say that Christianity is false idol worshipping because they claim that God is a Man whether Jesus is a God or a false idol can be proved by asking one question THE QUESTION: can the father create a rock that Jesus can't lift |

Absolutely not lol. Jesus has entire authority everyone and everything thing. He is our God.
Ok Cowboy...right here..you say Jesus is our God. (From your past posts, we know You mean Jesus is " our God ",to mean Jesus as a separate ENTITY from The Father...instead of just a separate PERSON WITHIN ONE GOD,, as Christians believe ). But when Christians say, JESUS IS OUR GOD , this is what we mean: JESUS IS JUST AS MUCH GOD AS THE FATHER IS GOD... JESUS IS EQUALLY AS MUCH GOD AS THE FATHER IS GOD.... AND BECAUSE THE FATHER GAVE JESUS AlL THE GLORY NOW , IT IS OK TO WORSHIP JESUS AS GOD. ( Find and Read the scriptures again, that point this out ....I shared them in an earlier post). FATHER, JESUS , AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ....AGAIN, ARE THE 3 PERSONS IN IN IN ONE GOD ...AND EACH PERSON IS EQUALLY GOD. (From your past posts, we know You mean Jesus is " our God ",to mean Jesus as a separate ENTITY from The Father...instead of just a separate PERSON WITHIN ONE GOD,, as Christians believe ) There right here is where all the confusion came from of what you think I believe. When I say separate entity I am meaning it the same way you are meaning separate person. We worship ONE God, ONE, not two, or three, but ONE. God is not a TITLE. GOD ALMIGHTY IS A SUPREME BEING. Yes God is a supreme being. The WORD "God" is used to show authority. "God" is not a name. When it says just "God" as not LORD God or anything of such, it is speaking of the father. And the father is referred to as "God" because he is supreme to us. And that is why it is a "title" as we don't know the name of the father, we know the name of the son, but not specifically the father. As Jesus never told us his name, only referred to God as his father or his God. OK....ONE STEP AT A TIME NOW: GOD IS ONE SUPREME BEING. NOT 2...NOT 3.... BUT ONE. NEXT STEP: WITHIN.....NOT UNDER .. NOT OVER... NOT A TITLE OVER..... BUT WITHIN ...... WITHIN THE ONE SUPREME BEING ARE 3 DISTINCTIONS.....NOW, THE BEST WAY WE FOUND TO DESCIBE THESE 3 DISTINCTIONS , IS CALLING THEM PERSONS.... NOW..THOSE 3 DISTINCT PERSONS WITHIN THE ONE SUPREME BEING ARE ALL EQUALLY GOD,CAUE THEY ALL ARE GOD. NOW...THE THREE DISTINCT PERSONS ARE NOT JUST PARTS OF GOD.. THAT IS WHY WE DESCRIBE THE 3 SEPARATE DISTINCTIONS WITHIN THE ONE SUPREME BEING AS PERSONS...NOT PARTS....CAUSE THE THREE PERSONS ARE ACTUALLY ONE SUPREME BEING,OR IN OTHER WORDS, JUST ONE GOD... AND THEREFORE , ALL 3 PRSONS WITHIN THE ONE SUPREME BEING ARE EQUALLY GOD. ONE SUPREME BEING (OR , ONE GOD ALMIGHTY)!!!! THE 3 DISTINCT PERSONS IN THE ONE SUPREME BEING,ARE SO MUCH ONE GOD IN FACT , THAT IN JESUS DWELLS THE FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. THAT IS HOW MUCH THE THREE ARE ONE GOD...IT IS SOMETHING OUR NATURAL MINDS CANNOT FULLY COMPREHEND ,HOW THERE CAN BE 3 IN ONE GOD. WHEN WE GET TO HEAVEN, IT WILL ALL BECOME CLEAR. BECAUSE GOD IS OMNIPRESENT AND OMNISCIENT,AND HAS ALL THE OTHER ATTRIBUTES THAT GOD POSSESSES, HE IS ABLE TO BE 3 PERSONS YET ONE..BUT IN A WAY THAT IS MUCH HIGHER THAN OUT LIMITED UNDERSTANDING. OK NOW? THERE IS ONLY ONE SUPREME BEING WE SERVE NOW. OK? OR IN OTHER WORDS, JUST ONE GOD WE SERRVE. THE 3 PERSONS IN THE ONE SUPREME BEING,ALTHOUGH SEPARATE WITHIN THE ONE SUPREME BEING,ARE ALL JUST ONE GOD. AGAIN...THEY ARE NOT 3 PARTS OF ONE GOD... ALL 3 PERSONS WITHIN GOD, ARE ACTUALLY JUST AS MUCH GOD,CAUSE THEY ALL ARE GOD . WE WILL NOT UNDERSTAND THIS FULLY, UNTIL WE SEE GOD FACE TO FACE ONE DAY. IN THE MEANTIME,LET US JUST ASK GOD HIMSELF TO MAKE IT ALL CLEAR,INSTEAD OF POSTING ANY FURTHER ON THIS ISSUE. AMEN. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

those that don't know what they are talking about will say "those that know and worship Jesus as a false idol will ask "what does that have to do with a false idol" instead of answering the question" As to not answer the question proposes for they know not the answer. Cowboy... by answering the question with a simple "yes or no" it can be determine whether or not you worship a false idol QUESTION: can the father create a rock that the son can't lift John 5:19 19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.. sorry Cowboy...I asked you the question...unless of course you are incapable of thinking for yourself which would explain why you would have to follow a false idol all it takes is a yes or a no answer so let's try again Cowboy...yes or no...can the father create a rock that Jesus can't lift |
