what point ? that's so ridiculous

it's one bad picture of cher - I could find you hundreds that are lovely

and you KNOW that

the only thing it proves is how short sighted and shallow men can be sometimes

Sorry. I did not mean to insult anyone. I just calls them as I sees them. I did not know this was Cher. I never had my cher of her.

But you are right, I am very short sighted and even more shallow.

Or maybe we are being judgmental about people who are not into the mainstream pop culture and don't recognize celebrities.

I am sure there are better pictures of her, but I was honest when I said:
1. I did not know who she was
and
2. That I thought she was a male.

If there are better pictures of her, then show them, and please convince me that way, not by calling me and my entire family of gender-sharers names and making judgement over us.

By calling us names is not conducive to convincing us that the pictutre as presented shows a beautiful woman. There is no logical or other connections between:

1. Screaming bad names at men and 2. Convincing men that a not very attractive woman displayed on sight is attractive.

No matter how long and how hard you do 1., it won't make even a small advance toward your goal in 2.

The only way is to show a GOOD picture of her.

I don't want to appear as an azzole here, for a change, but if you show me a tree and you insist it's a house, and scream at me to convince me of this claim, and call me names to achieve your goal, I don't think we can develop anything but bad vibes.

Really.

----------

Sweetestgirl, if your screaming was not directed at me but at someone else, then I take the whole defence here above back.

(But not down.)

I think some people are beyond help. They would need an entire new body.

I would not want surgery or botox....ewwww!

I will be the best I can be ... NATURALLY. If that's not good enough, I'm not going to care.

I think if a person is well groomed, well dressed, clean, etc. they are beautiful. You can take a beautiful person who does not clean up, does drugs, hates people, is rude and nasty and that person is no longer beautiful.

haven't you ever found yourself attracted to someone who isn't "beautiful" by traditional standards?
Absolutely! I'm sitting there scratching my head saying, "I can't figure out why she's so damned sexy".

I guess you don't have to know that right away. I checked back at your profile. You certainly have the looks to get you in the door. (You have a very cute smile). You're going to have to take some risk that somebody will or won't care about that scar. You can tell them about it in advance. Give them a chance to bail out. It's all a part of separating the wheat from the chaff, anyway. That's what dating is for.

I used to play bridge with this woman I had first met at singles dances. She was plain. She dressed okay, and wore minimal or no make up.

She met a really tall and very handsome man.

The lady (65+, a retired nurse) started to dress better, maybe had more care with her make-up, her hair did not change, and she became extremely beautiful, juicy and yummy. And loveable, I must add.

I hadn't known about the new boyfriend, and was constantly amazed at her. I moved out of that town after her dating the man still for the third year solid, and she was still very gorgeous at the time.

A lot of people, or maybe it's safe to say all, blossom up and break out like a wildflower in their fullest beauty with no stops, when they fall in love.
