Topic: why would a God have the "need" to create | |
---|---|
God created us for our benefit, so that we could exist and know the greatest good which can exist. So when God talks to humans, it is to further his goal of giving us the benefit of his company. "Spidercmb"...a God with a "need" to create company for itself means the God is lonely ...lonelyness is a decension below oneself ..and an indiction the God has needs that cannot be fullfilled within itself.. Funches, play your games with someone else and please don't put words in my mouth. God didn't NEED anything. As I've already said. God created humans so that we could know him. For our benefit, not his. God needs nothing. "Spidercmb" are you even reading what you are posting about God ...you are saying that God created people so they can have the pleasure of knowing him ...you are making God seem vain if people were already a part of God before God created them then according to your theory God create little powerless images of himself in order to praise himself ...you're describing God as some type of narcissistic sociopath |

Why did god shorten our life span then from upwards of 900 years to 120 unless he was fed up with all the arguing and strife?

Why did god shorten our life span then from upwards of 900 years to 120 unless he was fed up with all the arguing and strife? "Krimsa" when the fallen angels were kicked out it started a recession in Heaven and God had to make the decision to either shorten the human lifespan or to liquidate the gold pave roads of Heaven in order to finance the projects needed to cause plagues pestilences and natural disasters so after seeing the enormous price of the water bill to cause The Great Flood God decided that to shorthen human's lifespans would be cheaper in the long run |

Why did god shorten our life span then from upwards of 900 years to 120 unless he was fed up with all the arguing and strife? That's what the Bible says... You must not be replying to me, because nothing I said comes even close to that topic. But yes, the Bible says that God was tired of our wickedness, so God shortened our lifespan. It's probable that life was very different before that. Hundreds of years of perfect health without illness. It was so good that people stopped turning to God. God has to allow us to suffer or we won't come to him. Look around the world, wherever there are revivals, it is because people are suffering. |

"Spidercmb" ..if people wasn't part of God then where did they come from? ...did little elves bring them according to Christians God is everything and everything is God and from God and that includes Humans ...you keep getting Jesus mixed up with Yahweh Yahweh is the one that created people not Jesus |

God is perfect, "Spidercmb"...a perfect God would be incapable of creating imperfection, sinners or those destined to be sinners it would be impossible for God to be vain. the fact that God need worshippers contradicts that statement God is as great as he thinks he is. sounds vain to me |

You are confusing Pantheism with Christianity. They are two totally different religions. Yahweh is the one that created people not Jesus Jesus is Yahweh. |

"Spidercmb"...a perfect God would be incapable of creating imperfection, sinners or those destined to be sinners A perfect God can do anything that is possible and he wants to do. the fact that God need worshippers contradicts that statement God doesn't need worship, God deserves worship. sounds vain to me It is impossible for a perfect being to be vain. Beside the fact that a perfect being couldn't think too highly of itself, you also run into the fact that a perfect being's personality would be perfect and therefore not vain. So your assertion is logically refuted through two different lines of logic. |

God created them

God created them
Thats a load. Human females give birth. Your mother "created" you spider. Give credit where it is rightfully due. God is the first cause. If God hadn't created the universe and humans, then my mother wouldn't have existed to give birth to me. And my mother didn't create me, I was created though a complicated biological process designed by God. |

It is impossible for a perfect being to be vain
Well explain why your god is vain, jealous, difficult, angry and resentful. All of these emotions are incompatible with a supposedly omniscient being. Yet entirely compatible with a bunch of agenda driven males. |
