Ifi was raped i would keep the baby i mean it would be mine also

babies who are born to teen moms who don't want them and yet for some reason keep them don't have much of a shot in life. I would not condemn any innocent baby to a life of being raised by a crack whore either. There are no easy answers or perfect choices.

The only thing I can say to this is may you never be faced wiht having to make a decision between and unborn child that may or may not survive and two children who are real. May you never have to decide to take a gamble and hope you have enough time after the unborn is brought into this world to get treatment for something you know shall kill you. When and if you are then you can answer your own ?. till then my dear remain innocent and Thank-God you don't wake up hearing a child crying..........you don't look at ultrasound pictures wondering were you right trying to justify it in your mind..........knowing you should have 3 and feeling the emptiness in your arms as you realize that he/she should have been born.never will be. It's not a light decision and you pay everyday of your life..........

the ONLY way i can see it being ok to have an abortion is if there is a good chance the mother could die while giving birth and even than i think it should be discussed with the family.



even with a rape case,so the baby is going to get blamed for the rape?.in the U.S,we only sentence people to death if they have committed an unforgivable act of crime,so what crime has the unborn baby due that is should die?


i know that a rape victim doesn't want to have the baby as a reminder of what happened or she thinks the child will have a bad childhood due to it but do you know how many parents out there can't have kids and would love to adopt a baby?



sorry but this is just one of those subjects that pisses me off

I think this is a very personal issue and not a good subject for debate. People get too pissed off about this topic for some reason.
People are so quick to judge others when they have never been in that situation. I don't know a guy who has ever been pregnant with an unwanted child so they are least qualified to opine, I think.

I don't feel I'm judged.........people just don't realize that you never know what you'll do till faced with the decision........I used to be that girl.......Like I said God has a way of making us eat our words when we say never.

i think it should depend on th situation..... and how the mother would react to the situation..... nothing like seeing a unwanted kept child.... and like the memories of rape being there... not all can look past that.... as a mother... some maybe could or at least think they could.... but one wonders have those that say yes to a rape ever been raped before?.... maybe their minds would change if they havent been raped before like perhaps if they been raped they might say yes to abortion as to before they were rape say no to abortion ?.. also if the mother would die and already have other children to look after? hummmm.... i dont beleive in abortion as a birth control at all...... but i sure beleive in a choice
