Malia Obama appears to be smoking pot at Lollapalooza Malia Obama appears to smoke a joint at Lollapalooza. Malia Obama won’t be able to roll her way out of this one. The 18-year-old first kid was caught smoking what looks like a joint at a concert in a video that emerged Wednesday. The video, posted by Radar Online, shows Obama puffing away on the cigarette at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago last month. In the 9-second clip, the elder child of President Obama can be seen in the background smoking as a young girl in the foreground of the video dances and sticks her tongue out. An eyewitness claimed that Obama was smoking pot, according to the website. http://nypost.com/2016/08/10/malia-obama-appears-to-be-smoking-pot-at-lollapalooza/ |

small businesses will see an increase of 25-75 cents per year on par with the increases in federal minimum wage,,, with the exception of 2019 and 2020(if they haven't enacted a different minimum wage law, which they can always do if the current rollout is yielding negative results) when there will be 1.50 increase each Economics not one of your strong suits I see...... |

The Walmart in a major US city or metropolis might be able to afford an increase in wages with little to no effect based on volume per capita, but Joe's Hardware or Hanks Food Mart, already suffering under this failing economy, Oblowmecare requirements, regulations, and yearly changes to a bloated tax code, can barely stay afloat, much less competitive, as it is. One size does NOT fit all! It creates monopolies as the big fish eat the small ones right out of business! Globalization and corporatism are NOT friends to national sovereignty, local economies, or main street, but Wall Street, the banks, corporations and the politicos that profit from their lobbyists check books thrive at the expense of a slave based economy. There is no math that works for small business forced into a standard set by globalized corporate interests with the $$$ to lobby a corrupt political cesspool like DC for changes that work only for them. All it creates is a hostile economic environment where all failing small business (caused by these actions and policies) is bought for pennies on the dollar or forced to close to "make way for progress".... as it is sold to the public..... when the reality is in truth quite the opposite! |

The Bitter Lesson From Seattle's Minimum Wage Hike In comments that sounded as if they came straight out of an Econ 101 text, the Post concluded that "Increasing the minimum wage increases the costs of hiring workers. As a result, employers must accept reduced margins or customers must pay steeper prices. If employers cannot stay in business while paying their staff more, they will either hire fewer people or give their workers fewer hours. As a result, even if wages per hour increase workers' total earning could decline." Dead on. That's exactly what happened. And as University of Washington economist Jacob Vigdor, one of the authors of the Seattle study, noted, some businesses simply avoid paying the minimum-wage tax altogether by automating and letting low-end, unskilled workers go — as is now happening in some fast-food chains and at supermarkets. Yet, such foolishness seems to have infected the Democratic Party, with its now near-ubiquitous "Fight For $15" campaign. As a piece in IBD highlighted right after the Democratic Party Convention's call for a massive hike in the minimum wage, forcing sharply higher wages on troubled local economies where the median wage is low can have a devastating effect. "The most absurd plank to appear in either party's platform this year is the Democrats' call to 'raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour over time and index it,' " wrote Oren Cass, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of "Is A $15 Federal Minimum Wage Appropriate?" "It is policy written for the nation's very wealthiest enclaves, but incoherent for economically distressed regions." The tragic irony of this is that those who are worst hurt by a higher minimum wage are those with little education or training, mostly minorities, immigrants and the young. They get priced right out of the labor market by the well-meaning nanny-staters who want to impose a one-size-fits-all minimum wage on the entire country — regardless of the damage it does. http://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/the-bitter-lesson-from-seattles-minimum-wage-hike/ |

no,,the BLM is millions of people who follow a movement, from many different ethnic backgrounds and voting statuses,,I doubt they all support or oppose anyone I am only speaking here of a specific crossover of people ELIGIBLE VOTERS who are BLACK You miss the whole point. ![]() The "group" you speak of is unrepresented by poll or voice, unless you use the only "illustrated and documented" real vocal group of the BLM who oppose both candidates. Your statement has no grounds or basis in any fact |

I pity anyone who believed all black people voted or thought the same still, most eligible black voters are NOT supporting Trump Now serving an opinion of one (unless of course you have facts to back up your opinion.... good luck with that one way or the other since polls and media are inconclusive to say the least) its about all I have to go on, in conjunction with my personal experience as an eligible black voter and intimate relationships with other eligible black votrs,, but I can respect ones choice to never use polls or statistics,,, and go on their 'gut'? You often defend the BLM, your choice, but as large or vocal as they are they stand against both Clinton and Trump. So to state "most eligible black voters" would be a stretch in even the simplest of terms just based on the size of the BLM as opposed to everyday blacks not affiliated or vocal in those terms. |

Enough already. Almost everyone who is arguing against msharmony on this, are completely ignoring the fundamental fact, that over the period of years from Lyndon Johnson's administration up to now, there was a marked, and extremely purposeful shift, by the Republican Party, to move AWAY from support for the ideals that their party was originally created to fight for, and TOWARDS making themselves the party of hatred of one group of Americans against another. The litany and lists of everything that happened BEFORE Johnson, posted by people who thought they were OPPOSING msharmony, actually 100% supported exactly what she wrote. Bottom line, that was then. This is now. RIGHT NOW, the Republican Party is OPPOSED to every American citizen having an equal right and ability to vote. They are OPPOSED to everyone of us being equal under the law. And they actively SUPPORT persecution and oppression of one kind of Americans against another kind. By all means, read and learn where we all came from. But stop pretending silly things, such as that because Lincoln did what he did, that the Republicans of TODAY can pretend that they are just as nice. You might as well pretend that because Teddy Roosevelt created the National Parks system, that today's GOP can support the destruction of the environment for profit everywhere INCLUDING the parks, because Teddy was so cool. Bill Clinton gave our national parks and waterways to the UN while serving as POTUS. We pay for them, their upkeep and all.... but the UN controls them now thanks to Wild Bill! http://www.nationalcenter.org/NPA341.html |

Short-Circuit Damage to US Security: Hillary’s Lies and Amiri’s Execution Sensational lying is nothing new for the former first lady Amiri’s execution intersects with the 2016 U.S. political elections. As the linked article notes, two emails transmitted in 2010 through Hillary Clinton’s off-the-books and unauthorized server appear to refer to Amiri. Clinton senior adviser Jake Sullivan was involved in both emails: one he forwarded on July 5, 2010 (10 days before Amiri returned to Iran) and another (one he sent) dated July 12. The July 5 email said, “Our friend must be given a way out.” For many good reasons senior official-level traffic is “born classified.” Access to a SecState’s unprotected email traffic provides enemy intelligence services with clues and indications regarding U.S. foreign and defense policy. In some cases, it may provide confirmation of suspected U.S. operations or, perhaps, U.S. intelligence assets and sources. Assets include human spies. U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton told CBS’ “Face the Nation”: “I’m not going to comment on what he (Amiri) may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman…That goes to show just how reckless and careless her decision was to put that kind of highly classified information on a private server. And I think her judgment is not suited to keep this country safe.” (Cotton also discussed the Obama Administration’s $400 million cash payment to Iran that looks a lot like a ransom for hostages deal. Here is the entire transcript.) Reckless and careless behavior by Hillary Clinton indeed. To say otherwise is to wage War on Honesty. Did her recklessness and carelessness have deadly consequences? Possibly. The mullahs may not have needed a SecState email to convince them Amiri provided the U.S. with intelligence data. As spy games go, Amiri could have been a double agent, providing the U.S. with disinformation. His execution indicates he wasn’t. We don’t know if Iran had access to Hillary’s email. FBI Director James Comey couldn’t confirm the system had been hacked, but everyone honest suspects it was. However, the revelations of Hillary’s high-level recklessness with classified information related to human spies and Amiri’s life short-circuited by execution will make it that much harder for U.S. intelligence agencies to recruit spies and attract defectors. In this respect, Hillary has damaged American national security—already damaged, not theoretically. http://observer.com/2016/08/short-circuit-damage-to-us-security-hillarys-lies-and-amiris-execution/ |

Again, Blacks are 13% or less of the vote so the size of the line means little in comparison to the overall total in reality. So any part of it that votes Trump takes away a fairly large chunk of that vote |

as much as you can support more democrats are supporting trump ![]() ![]() These polls also said Trump was just a flash in the pan and Clinton would reign without opposition..... There hasn't been a poll right once during this cycle for many, many reasons, and strangely enough it usually seems to be that pesky, unexpected Trump support that bites them in the bud ![]() Trump (or anyone for that matter, even Sanders) wasn't supposed to be any trouble at all for a Clinton coronation. Funny how no matter how many times Trump screws himself, or how hard the liberal media tries to glorify Clinton, even if these useless polls are to be believed, Trump is pretty much tied within the margin of error and always seems to recoup to take a lead over her. She never rises in the polls, Trump just screws up and falls..... but always come back! Another thing to consider..... Blacks are 13% of the population and only around 1/2 are eligible voters or will vote, so it is actually a small amount of the vote singled out from the "all" and "white" catagories.... despite the size of the line ![]() |

Obama said Israel supports the Iran deal — here’s their response What could President Obama have been thinking when he claimed that Israel’s “military and security community” now supports his disastrous nuclear deal with Iran? “The country that was most opposed to the deal,” he said at his Thursday press conference, “acknowledges this has been a game-changer.” Well, it didn’t take long for those same officials to put the lie to the president’s claim — and in unusually undiplomatic language. Israel’s Defense Ministry, in an official statement, compared the deal to the infamous 1938 Munich accord, whose “basic assumption, that Nazi Germany could be a partner to any kind of agreement, was wrong.” Similarly, it added, “agreements of this kind signed between the world powers and Iran,” which “states openly” it aims to destroy Israel, are also useless. http://nypost.com/2016/08/05/obama-said-israel-supports-the-iran-deal-heres-their-response/ He's always soooooooo wrong in so many ways..... but that's a lying narcissist for ya ![]() |

I do love the idea that at 18, everyone is automatically registered, and gets a card with address and name to be verified at the voting location _____________________________________________________________________ You would still need a form of legal identification to to be " verified"... wouldn't you?. The problem with " automatic registration" at 18 is that not everyone is allowed to automatically vote. As in felons who are on probation. actually no, you don't need id to pay taxes, they track work status with an assigned ss number and know that you are supposed to pay when they come to the polls, there is a list of those assigned to vote there, show your registration card (which should be addressed to you at your address) and voila Actually, it depends on what state. Some states you can register and vote the same day..... without ID. All you need is a letter from someones trash bin |
