Talk about being smacked hard by irony! I have a "Who Viewed Me" box full of cougar bait but I'm NOT A COUGAR !!! I rarely look at who viewed me, but just took a peek and 90% of them are under 28! Has the whole world jumped on the cougar train? The men our age are busy dating the 20 year old girls. It's a vicious cycle. |

Only kidding. I don't think you can change your username without deleting and starting a new profile. |

You ladies would complain if a old dude was wanting to get him some of that young stuff. My dearest Goof...that's part of the irony though isn't it? Why do you think so many young men are chasing after 40 something women? You 40's fellas have all the little hotties all tied up these days. Just realized I typed "all tied up"! |

I think men and women all cheat for a variety of reasons. I don't consider their reasons as important as the fact that they hurt the people who trust them the most when they think of their own issues before considering those they purported to love.

Good afternoon Beachwalker.
I'm not so much fishing as making friends and entertaining a crush on one of them. I love the forums here and think the people are so friendly and casual it's an easy place to meet members with their "hair down" so to speak. If your experience here has not been all you hoped it would be so far...I would suggest getting involved in the forums. These people will drag you in and hand you a cup of coffee. They're awesome! Good luck and happy fishing. |

If I had that conversation with a boyfriend, I might suggest that we take a break from one another while we consider where we want to go from here. I think it's hard for someone to really evaluate what they want from the comfort and influence of a relationship.
From there if he decides he wants to go forward, and you're still on board with that idea, you will both know that the decision did not develop out of habit of being together, because you've been apart for a while. Or if he decides he wants to go a different route, being away from you for a while will give him the room to do so freely. While this may hurt, at least it won't be a shock because you will have had time alone to reflect on a life without him too. This is not meant to serve as actual advice, but is just an option I thought to throw out there as something I would consider in the same situation. |

First....guys are checking you ladies out and digging on your groovyness? Can you really blame them? You ladies are finer than frog hair...regardless of these guys age...a guy can appreciate a fine woman. Would it be better if they were 30 years older than y'all? Secondly....I personally find it complimentary when gals scope out my stuff...I don't care if a chick is 18 or 105. I think it is nice when any woman gives me the eye. It don't mean I gotta drop trou and let them use me for their carnal lustitudes. Accept a simple compliment babydolls. If ya don't want them looking at you....strip down your profiles to nothing....then post a picture of you in a bhurka in a room with no lights and the lens cap on. Until then...You ladies are just gonna have to bear the burden of being desirable and not get to pick and choose who thinks you are awesome. It doesn't actually bother me if they view my profile. It's the irony that so few men my age stop by....but so many young ones. I imagine there is a higher percentage of young men than middle age ones here. Yeah...that must be it..... |

Well, send some of them my way if you like. I love younger guys. They have a certain zest for life. And no, I don't mean sex. Just incase you thought I did. I just like how they're never bitter. Well don't look at ME :D It's not like I'm handing out flyer's. Why aren't these cougar admirer's on cougar dating site's? Because the whole point of Cougar dating site's is aimed at that. It's why they exist. *frowning with confusion*. I have nothing against younger men. I'm still close with too many of the little boys I've diapered and they are all in their mid to late 20's now. It's a perspective thing. |

if they can't see you age, or a picture of what you actually look like, perhaps they are just trying to see if you either have an actual picture of yourself or...wait for it...actually reading your profile!!! Dunno...just a thought.... You know, I just assumed that age shows when scanning through profiles or doing the mutual match thing. I don't know cause I've never done mutual match before. |

What happens if you discover you don't want him to be impossible anymore?
I mean if he's going to be your internet boyfriend, you may accidentally get to know and like one another. What then? |

Kind of telling lies 2 impress or win the persn's heart How have you won her heart by making her fall for a figment of your imagination? She is now in love with the invisible man. It seems to me you've just invented your own competition. Oh... I only want to date someone who actually likes me for myself. I think anything else is a waste of everyone's time. The way I see it, life is too short for those kinds of games. A person can probably get a lot of fun dates pulling a scam like that, but they are not only wasting the time of the girls they date, but will wake up one day and realize they wasted a lot of time just having fun and never really sharing themselves with anyone. I don't care how many dates he's been on, that's going to leave him very lonely in the end. |

Assuming she wants to be "kept", that will depend solely on whether or not you can accept being with someone who does not and may never love you as you wish to be loved.
I think resentments could easily grow from this situation though. If you don't fully accept that she does not love you and choose to stay with her, you may resent that she does not love you. If you do fully accept that she does not love you and stay, you may feel content for a while but eventually resent both her and yourself for giving up opportunities for the kind of love you really wanted. That's what I've seen happen in similar situations anyway. Good luck friend. |
