Home schooling has large possatives and negatives. There is really no
middle ground. My main problem with public schools is they told me they
are not my kids while they are at school but are the school's kids. I
stood up for myself in school against teachers and a few principals. I
fear my kids would not do such and after one of the principals told me
they were not my kids I removed my kids from the school. Another issue I
had with public schools was timing of the school year. My job was a
mostly summer job and our vacations was given out in the late fall to
early winter months every year as the work slowed. So I could not take
my kids on vacation with me without going before a truincy(spell check)
board. I was told my kids would be held back a grade if they had one
more unexcused day and I would be taken to court. This was about a month
before the principal told me they were not my kids during school hours.
So my oldest 2 were home schooled for the rest of that year and the next
year. I could not afford private school as there is a good christian
based one here. And the hours are much better as the kids only have to
have 4 hours of school but you have to really cram the work in that 4
hours or take longer than 4 hours a day.

The down sides to home schooling are the lack of activities for the
kids to interact with children their own age. The older the kids are the
more important it is that they mingle with their own kind and start
making choices for themselves. I would never home school high school
aged kids. It would be public schools or private school for this age
group.

Just because the parents are christians has nothing to do with the home
schooling itself. I filed a complaint against the school board for
giving sex ed to one of my daughters after I signed the NO sex ed form
which I had to go to school and do as my daughter was being punished for
not getting the permission slip for it signed then they still gave her
the fucked up sex talk crap with nude photos. BTW this daughter was 11
years old at the time. The ex already had the bird and bees talk with
her to some extent but we were waiting for her first period to give her
the rest of the story. Public school have no business teaching anything
about sex. Reproduction yes but not sex.

Anywhere in the world. They maybe willing to relocate to you. For me
those in the north would have to move south as I hate the cold. I would
gladly move south to say TX to FL and north to TN. So mostly south and
south east parts of the US. I hated S. Cali when I was there at about 11
years old. N. Cali was nice but again it gets COLD.

Some people react the wrong way to adversity and turn it into anger and
violence. Other do become a better person.

I do believe part of making you stronger is that been there done that
so it is easier the next time around. Part of it actually makes you
smarter as you learn from the mistakes you made in the past to bring on
the problems so you can avoid them. Then some of them actually make you
physically stronger as in muscle tone, LOL.

That is totally weird. No first timer is good at golf. I only went out
once and that was once to many for me. I will play pool on a table from
now on(golf is outdoor pool, LOL). I never want to go to a country club
again as it is full of uptight city folks trying to hit this little ball
into a small hole 300 yards away. There is nothing country about the
country club.

I have seen the first type happen last week. I tossed a box of little
debbie honey buns that had been sat on in the truck into a road side
trash can while I was out collecting seeds off some trees in
Chattanooga. It happened to be a small park and I paid no attention to
the homeless around. About 4 of them saw that the box had a few smashed
honeybuns and came running to the trash can and started fighting over
the food. I took out another box of little debbie donuts and passed them
out to the gentlemen to try and stop the fighting but the greed of one
of them really got to me as he kept trying to swipe the others donuts. I
have to say it was funny watching these people fight for something that
is so cheap, yet very sad that these people valued those $1.29 or so a
box honey buns enough to actually throw punches. Cheaply paid boxers who
are willing to fight for nearly nothing. I can say I find it distasteful
yet the bums are fighting on their own accord without being made fight
so I see no wrong doing in this first type.

I could see this as a back alley biz. Pay a couple bums to fight giving
the winner more money. This way they are boxers/fist fighters and are
willing to do it. I love a good boxing match even though I do not get to
see many.

The second type you mentioned where they tie the person down is assualt
or worse and should be punished very harshly.

I am totally against killing unborn children. There are to many want to
be mothers out there. I think the rules for adoption are to strict. A
poor parent can be a very good parent. Having money does not help you
raise a child. It does help you provide a better home and material
things but when those material things are taken by flood, fire, tornado
and the child is ok the parents are happy all is alive and unhurt. I
know a woman who can not have children and is disabled due to a bad car
accident. Her husband is not fully disabled but has disabilities but
does hold down a low paying job. They want children. They are loving and
caring enough to be foster parents. Yet our goverment says they can not
adopt a child because they do not make enough money, yet the goverment
pays them to keep foster children. To me this says you are a great
person who has love in your heart and the goverment can not find other
reasons for you not to have a child of your own except you make to
little money. What is the difference in the goverment paying them to
keep foster kids who get all the state aid and to let this couple become
a family?

I played the feild while I was younger. I did alot of wild things. I
was ready to settle down at 18. My ex though did like a few other here
have stated. She grew up some and changed drastically. She went from a
church going girl to drinking, smoking pot, to an affair, and is now a
lesbian. So there ya have it 16 years later what a big turn around she
made. So it is not just your maturity level but his as well.

Yes please think of the kids. I suggest having your kids young over
older but wait through the honeymoon years(2-4yrs), before trying to
bring a baby into this world. All my kids seem to have adjusted to our
split except my son. He tells me often that he does not love me anymore
because I made mommy leave. I did not make her leave but I sure did not
try to stop her from packing her bags and moving in with her girl
friend.

Yall yankees can keep calling it pop but it is soda here in the south.
All dark sodas like pepsi and coke are called coke here to some extent.
Just shows how diverse this nation is who should all be speaking the
same language.

This is not a joke. There are a few people looking to market powdered
water or instant water. It is a powder you add to tap water to condition
it(removes clorine and possibly floride). It adds other
elements(vitamins) like calcium, sodium, and iron for a better taste and
better health(marketing). The success of getting a chemical in powdered
form to remove clorine or cloramines is not easy. The reason is every
public water system uses different amounts and different percentages of
each. And this also changes through out the seasons depending on the
amount of bacteria in the water they are treating.

Mountain Dew when I drink sodas. I love Dr. Pepper but it belches me to
death(to the point I belch the alphabet a few times LOL). Mountain Dew
is part of my morning breakfast to get me going. Sugar and Caffine what
else you need to get your blood a pumping.

Tea though is my drink choice. Hot tea and iced tea at all hours of the
day. I drank 4 glasses of tea in about an hour a bit ago after a long
days work. But I honestly think I was getting dehydrated. I always drink
a gallon of tea a day if not more. In this house with 4 kids we commonly
go through 2-3 gallon a day.

I like several of the older names. I prefer old english spelling for
Carrie who happens to be my oldest. Naomi is my favorite name for a girl
and happens to be my youngest little girl. Stephanie was a favorite of
mine and I had planned on naming a girl that back when I was like 12. My
brother and his wife were expecting and they already had a girl named
Tiffany. I opened my big mouth and told them I wanted to name a daughter
Stephanie Lee Ann and guess what I have a niece now with that name.

Boys are harder to name for me. I like the more common names. I also
hate people cutting or adding to a name like Jake for Jacob and Johnny
for John. I also HATE Junior as the name someone is called. Well my son
is named Jacob Thomas. The sad thing is he will all ways be around other
Jacobs. I being John have had to deal with the over used name.
Ethan(hope I spelled it right) is one of the names I choose for a boy
but the ex disliked it.

Many of those men are taken. I always looked and never spoke to or
approached women as I had my wife to come home to. But now I am single
and yes I would approach you if I found you attractive. Even though it
has gotten me punched by the BF/DH with no rings on her finger. It is
not like dating in High School or college.

I think you are good looking. I am not attracted to most blacks
sexually.

Being in a wheel chair is not a problem for me. But it is for many. I
have disabilities(fell at work breaking one vertabrea and rupturing 1
disc, 4 bulged disc in my back) and find that they limit the number of
people who will give me the time of day and I can still walk. It is a
cold fact of life.

I wish you the best of luck.

I slipped and went on a date with another girl while dating another. I
had not had sex with either and to me was still an open relationship.
The sad thing was the girl I had been dating thought we were a couple
and past the open relationship. I admit I tried to hide it because I
liked her so much, yet I had been trying to get a date with the other
girl for a couple years. I never cheated on my ex but she had 3 affairs.
I knew of 2 and the second one was when I packed her cloths. She later
confessed there was another before the first one I knew about. So I know
how it feels.

This is part of the reason I do not use the words lightly I love you.
When I tell someone these words I mean it. Until I commit to a woman and
truely have feeling for her I see it as an open relationship. But my
thinking it was still an open relationship above made the better one(the
one I was seeing to begin with) walk away.
