I have traveled 1600 miles. But I had business there anyway. So I went there for 2 weeks at a time to work and saw a few people in the general area. Nothing came of it though.

I play with snakes, love heights, had mice as pets, love high speed, ect.....

I guess I have not found a fear as such. I have fear for my childrens safety and health. But no phobias here. Many people fear bees and I am a beekeeper. I want to get stung when I open the hives in the morning as I use them as theorpy for my back. I used to break horses. Nothing like the rush of sitting on a horse for the first time. I broke a couple of mustangs and was disapointed that these "wild" horses were no hard to break than a domesticlly raised one.

After this marriage I sure can relate. I am leary of it but not affraid of it.

TXsGal3333 You are a perfect example of what I was talking about. Your pic expresses yourself yet hides your face. We can get to know you before your looks could attrack or scare us away. This way it is the person not the lust or such that attracks.

I made a comment on the topic that became of this thread and ouch. I have no problem with those that do not want to hunt or eat meat.

Meat from the super markets are a mess. God(or mother nature for those who do not beleave in him) intented a chicken to take 5-8 months to get to fryer size(slaughter size) as I grow them on the farm(got to get some more thanks to the coons getting into the cage). Tyson grows them off in 6 weeks from hatch to slaughter. Tyson can say they do not give their chickens steroids because they inject the chick while it is in the egg 24 hours before it hatches. Cattle are made to eat grass not grain. Over feeding grain to cattle causes ulcers and other severe problems for the cattle. This means that the cattle must be fed meds to over come these problems. On the farm when I put a calf up to slaughter it gets 1/2 gallon of corn 2 times a day and all the hay it can eat. All the food grown here is safe to eat as I only put in its mouth what god intended it to eat. All my veggies are grown without pesticides. I do use chemical fertilizers(made chemically vs organic). But nothing touches my farm that will harm me. Same with my food animals.

I kind of like those that use a fictional photo for there photo in the chat but has a real photo in their gallery. To many people are shallow and all people are to some extent wether you beleive it or not. That way when you like the comments a person makes and you check the persons profile you get a look at the real person. I also like pics that show who you are. Like my pic took while on a hike in these great southern mountains.

The last person I kissed on new years eve was my EX. I met her after the first kiss on new years eve from a female friend.

Oldsage, I know where your coming from. I can not wait to open the beehives tomorrow and get a few stings. The beestings are my meds for back spasms due to nerve damage.

But no sex for 10 years for anything is not worth it.

I rather my food come out of the woods than a grocery store. I love deer meat, but I do not care for rabbit. I always make BBQ out of the rabbits. Here in the south east it depends on where you live if the deer are over populated. But the late freeze and drought have made it so that upto 30% of the deer may starve this year. I fed the deer on my dad's farm real well this year. I planted 5 pounds of pea seed and water them so the deer would hopefully make it through winter healthy. In return they feed me as I take a few of them every year. There is a massive buck there. He is atleast a 8 point as he was still in velvet when I counted through the scope of the rifle(keep it behind the seet of the truck). I shot a fawn last year that got hit by the bush hog last July. As small as it was it was not wasted. Quail are one of my favorites.

The only people I can see that have a real arguement to hunting are the vegatarians. But then they still do not want bears, wolves, ect reintroduced to control the population. Bears are very destructive to homes and such to get at food or just the smell where food had been.

With long haired dogs it is best to shave her hind quarters around the area so it is much easier for her to get clean. Beleave me you do not want that matted stinking mess. Other than that like other said set her up a spot away from everything and everyone. Then call her to you the first time you pet her after the birth and watch her behavior as she may turn on you.

I used to raise dalmations and poms. The dalmations never were a problem except one mother refusing to nurse the pups after a few days. The poms and other small breeds pups can have a form of diabetis where the pancris(my spelling sucks) is not fully developed. I never tried to keep them alive when they showed the main sign of having seizers/convulsions. I only seen this 2 times out of the many litters my pom had and it was nearly always the runt. Some breeds have breed specific problems. Like the dalmations are know to be born deaf. I had a few born deaf in one ear but not in both which I gave away with no papers. I purchased show dog stock and kept them as pets and raised a few puppies. Not a puppy mill but more than I should have on the dalmations. Everyone want a dalmation puppy because of 101 dalmations but they quickly grow up to very hyper dogs. I always sold my pups with a return to me for rehoming if you can not keep it or can not handle it.

Unless you want to gain weight find something to do with your hands and mouth that do not involve food. Holding a twig/straw like you would a smoke and chewing on it helps. You will have this habit no matter if you use something like the patch/gum. There is more to the smoking habit than nicotine and something in your mouth as well, Friendship. You are used to going to break with the guys at work and all ya light up. Well you need to go to the non smoking break area at first. You will be to tempted to ask for a smoke in the smokers area.

Start visiting other churches. It works for the non smoker, non drinkers. I am not a drunk but enjoy my spirits(no beer) and every once in a while a cigar. To me I am not a drinker and I do not smoke but other see it different.

I have made alot of friends here. If nothing else the support that you get for finding one at home is worth it. I had a few prospects going before I had to cut the internet off. I met someone in person I met on pogo.com. It went no where but we still email each other from time to time.

My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love the haunted houses. But the best part is making the costumes for me and the kids. Store bought costumes are lame. Yes you have to purchase items but not a costume. I want to dress my 2 younger kids as bees and I will put my beekeeper suit on. I tried this year but had a late start after the idea so put it off.

Like others said I always try to respond. Sometimes I read the email and do not respond til I have more time. Had someone see I read their email who emailed me again just today as I left Sunday morning and came back tonight. But they got a reply tonight.

Like others said the more you are know on the forums help. People get to see who you are vs. that small bio which is very hard for most of us to write anyway.

The pic not being posted or using other pics is a major turn off for some people(see you got yours up). I had no way of posting a pic when I first joined. But after I hung around the forums a bit I got a few emails without it. When the pic went up they drastically increased.

I have been the first person to send the email many times. I get about 1 in 3 to respond, but alot of them say no thanks, and others are chats that got started here in the forums but took a personal turn(good not flaming). One lady I was checking her pic as she was using something other than her picture and I saw a picture that I know where the original is hanging. So I had to ask about it. Several emails passed back and forth.

Maybe a part of your problem is to broad of an email. Something like "You interested" will get no responses. But if you get into you and see if you can find things you and tha other person likes to do in their bio. I like gaming. Several emails to me have been about that. Most think I am a gamer, but gaming is the term used for gambling at casinos. It struck up alot of chats though.

Global economy is the reason. China now pays their workers more money and is still trying to kill us with lead, ect.. Oil for fuel to get the products to you is at all time highs. Corn has gone up drastically as more of it is being used for making fuel. So now any meat cost more to raise. This year there was a drought covering all the south east and a late freeze killing the blooms of fruit trees causing the amount of food in the country to be less so more imports drove food prices higher even if imported from the parts of the country with rain as long as they did not flood.

Add all those and other factors together and then add it takes fewer people to make those items with automation(robots) and you can see how easy it is to pay these outrageous prices.

There is one more factor that many of you were pushing through congress. Minium wage increase like we are going through again hurts the economy. The middle class is hit the worst. The rich company owners adjust their prices BEFORE the rate hike so they do not lose money when the time comes to pay their employees more money. Many salary people will not get a raise or they get it the next time they redo their contracts. Many people making over minium will not get a raise or get it later. So in short everything goes up 3-6 months ahead of the wage increase and none of us get the wage increase til the wage increase or after. It brings the value of the dollar down(bad economy and the wage increase are really hurting it now).

You get to see your kids so be happy. Just focus on that day as you would normally focus on christmas day. Then like other said get to some other family event for christmas so the lonelyness does not set in. I have been there myself last year for Thanksgiving but the courts gave me the kids for christmas. Another low blow from the ex and this year I have done without the kids for 4 weeks and have another 4 weeks to go atleast before the courts can hear it and give them back to me for the 3rd time.
