Gotta admit, I am sometimes shocked at the wrinkles that seem to sneak up on me...but then I remember, I earned them...along with every gray hair. I have friends that range in age from 4 to 75. My closest friends are ages 27, 39, 50 and 75. I enjoy taking a trip to the past to listen to some of Rock's classics, but there is plenty of good new music out there. Can't imagine ignoring the new to listen to the same music over and over again for the rest of my life. I have much less energy than I once did, and that annoys the he!! out of me at times, but I have much more energy than many women who are a good deal younger than me. When it comes to romance, though, I like men my own age...whether balding or developing a paunch...whether gray or wrinkled. I enjoy knowing we have similar life histories, similar events that have affected our view of the world...just feel more comfortable and compatible with men my own age.

Dragging the garbage cans to the curb on Sunday nights...always makes me think of the ex...yep.

Love to color!!! Have a box of several Mandela patterns that I am coloring. Like crayons, pencils and markers depending on my mood.

Yeah, tough call. I dated before the final decree, but the marriage had been over for years, I'd purchased my own home and was living on my own. I didn't realize the problems one can encounter when dating a person who is not yet divorced until I dated someone who was going through a difficult divorce (though separated for over 3 years!). It wasn't that it was a threatening situation for me. It was that his focus was elsewhere, his energy was going toward trying to end the marriage, and all conversations reverted to his difficulties. Just didn't feel as if there was much left of him to offer me, ya know?

Yes...the day is about more than just picnics. There are a few I have known who were lost. Don't think they'd begrudge us a picnic. In fact, they'd enjoy knowing everyone was having a great day. They'd also be pleased that we remember .
