Like many folks in this state, I have a job. I work they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who do not have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their BUTT, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?.......Stuart Have you ever been on Welfare? I suggest you take a step back and try to imagine just how difficult it is for a lot of people. How for many they have no choice- like the aformentioned mothers. For a few years when I was a child my parents had to go to welfare. HAD to because of the economic decline in our area. I bet you can't even imagine what it's like to be fully capable of work and there be no jobs for you to take. So maybe "Mr. I have a job but an issue with helping my peers" you should be a little more thankful for what you've got and count your blessings that it's not you in the other guys position. |

Hey guys! I am writing a paper and we have to survey people (the more the better) So I was wondering if you could answer my questions? Did you have an item that comforted you as a child (like a blankie, toy, stuffed animal...) When did you get it/ get rid of it? Did you suck your thumb or have a pacifier? Thats it! My teacher prefers we include gender and a first name but you can choose to remain anonymous! Thanks for all you lovely people who help me

I just got out of a 5 year relationship with a girl who couldn't talk to me about our problems and talked to another man which ultimately influenced her to leave me, I feel so hurt and dont really know what to do, she won't speak to me now cuz she hates me for some reason, should i move on and let her go or still stress about why she left? Hey Lost, don't worry too much about why she left. It's not worth it. Move on, date other people who do not remind you of her. Always remember, all you have is time. Use it to move forward with yourself, before you know it the time you shared with her will just be a memory. If you do it right that memory won't remind you of hurt.
