I had been under the impression that one cigar was like smoking a whole pack of ciggarettes That information is incorrect, they say that about pot too and that's false as well. Ciggerette smokers are the most likely to get lung cancer and snuff or dip users are most likely to get mouth cancer. Of course, ANY tobacco can lead to cancer, but ciggerettes are by far the worst as far as smoking goes;^] I just wanted to confirm what he is saying is true 1 cigar does not equal 1 pack of ciggerattes 1 joint does not equal 1 pack of ciggerattes these are urban myths |

dude i got nothin against potsmoking, its less dangerous than booze, but i dont think it should be legal n heres y: if it becomes legal then the ciggarette companies will get ahold of it and corrupt it beyond all recognition like they did 2 tobacco which when unprocessed is not as potent/dangerous as pot but when processed kills thounds of people each year. Processed pot=death Which is why I added the team for regulating quality and purity. Like cigars, which are pretty much pure tobacco where as ciggerettes are 55% recon tobacco which has been chemicaly enhanced to bring out the nicotine, that's the processing danger in ciggerettes. But we can regulate and maintain the purity of marijuana, and even without it it goes back to the arguement of having the right to choose what goes into your own body;^] Roe v. Wade wasn't it? |

Yes but in amsterdam there is not the possibility of the influence of evil american ciggarette companies on their product Turtlepoet:Any company found "enhancing" their marijuana with narcotics or other dangerous/ lethal substances will face criminal charges and face up to fifty years in prison plus business forclosure. Did you read that part? According to his prop. "processing" in the way you describe would be punishable by law. |

Here's a testimonial from Europe on legalizing marijuana
The Bulldog is credited as the oldest cannabis cafe in Amsterdam, starting up in 1975, a year before the current drug laws were enacted. Marijuana and hashish are generally sold right next to the drinks and snacks in the city's extensive network of "coffeeshops" or "cannabis cafes," as they're also known. Sometimes the drugs are available at the counter; sometimes they're sold by a guy sitting over in the corner. There's always a menu specifying type, quantity and price, making comparison shopping easy. Both the Dutch Ministry of Justice and the Amsterdam Police Department proudly point to the coffeehouse scene as a social system that has reduced drug-related crime and limited the number of people who abuse hard drugs, such as cocaine and heroin. Lizardking: has not happened in Amsterdam. people are not dying from pot... |

I agree with you Sir. The Money that would come in could be used also to get out of federal debt too. i understand that some might think that ol Mary Jane is "addictictive" but only with Additives. i used to smoke but had to stop because i joined the military, but oh well. I smoke right now, but I'm quitting because I enter boot camp for the marines in 6 months. Federal debt would be gone, we could pay back all the countries that we owe, and even for once have a large surplus and export. |

Any company found "enhancing" their marijuana with narcotics or other dangerous/ lethal substances will face criminal charges and face up to fifty years in prison plus business forclosure. Any clerk found selling marijuana or paraphinalia to minors will face the same penalty as stated in the previous line.
While definitely a no-no, I wouldn't see our judicial system going for such a strict sentence on the mentioned crimes. 10-20 years for "enhancing" and loss of job for those selling to minors is more realistic. |

Thanks for the feedback.
Simplecharles, I said on the first post I'm not much or a writer, in fact this is only like the 5th poem I've written in my life, but to say it should be removed is a little harsh. A little depth to the poem: this poem is about a girl I like and dealing with a long distance relationship added on to the difficulties of me entering the marines rather soon for 4 years of active duty to pay for my college. Hope that helped people understand it a little more. |

Thanks for the input Lex. It was a very interesting read. I agree with you on the issue of religion, as an agnostic myself. Especially I agree on your views of censorship.
On the subject of Public schools, I would have to agree I gained most my knowledge from books and the internet and not from classrooms. |
