IF I were "dating"...I would say HECK NO!

That would actually be a HUGE brownie point in my book. Just so long as he doesn't mind that I own a mini-arsenal myself, as well as being quite the skilled archer with a compound bow.

I'd lead the way to the firing range for our first date. bigsmile

I'd make sure there were clean sheets on the bed...candles lit...fresh towels in the bathroom...

And that I had plans for the evening...elsewhere.

"Have fun and make sure you make full use of the Chlorox wipes I left ya' on the bedside table...."

*quietly closes door behind me*

Plain enough explanation?

Heck, "you" wouldn't have even had the opportunity to swap cooties with me after one week. noway

"QUOTE:

"I can't believe you would ask me to "expound." laugh laugh laugh

Why do you think this thread is potentially volatile and touchy? huh

This wimpy subject doesn't even approach volatile and touchy in comparison to most.

I agree with Artgirl. We don't need dogma, myth, superstition, the religious establishment, or the CHURCH to be in touch with our spirituality.

Is that volatile enough? laugh laugh END QUOTE"
***********************************************************

*giggles with you* Why expound? Suppose I suggested that prior to another potentially volatile poster doing so. *munches popcorn...want some?* drinker

Heck, don't know about you gals...but, I DO "need" dogma, myth, supersititon and religous establishments and "church" to further propel little ole ME to my own spirituality. Call them the nails in the "cross" for my personal decision towards spirituality...but, then again...that's just me...

How's that for volatile, eh? laugh Make love, not war...*wanna buy some purdy flowers?* laugh

Hate to burst your cowgirl "bubble"...but, only being 21 and bucking into the arena stating ALL YOU'VE EVER WANTED was a cowboy...well...*sighs*...

Dare I say you are so pigeon-holing yourself into a Lifetime for Chicks flick with that scenario? I tend to think you have watched the movie "8 Seconds" one too many times, hon! ohwell

Again, don't mean to be harsh, but take it from another chaps-wearing chick...good looking in Wranglers and able to hang on for 8 seconds does NOT a man make!

Broaden your horizons...look beyond the 3 barrels and remain RECEPTIVE to those who may just surprise the HAYSTACK outta ya'! drinker

...because shaving can be such a pain in the butt...

*SNORT* Sorry, BUTT that was an easy target to laugh at, buddy! laugh

Personlly, for me...the *perfect* man is one who can find harmony between the clean-shaven AND scruff-look and still make me *SWOOOOOOON* regardless...because it's not the "look" but the heart that counts.

Just sayin'.... love

What really through me for a loop is the other day. We started watching this life time movie about two child hood best friends who eventually turned into a married couple (it was life time)

I pinky swear...I don't mean to poke fun here...and tried to HONESTLY read thru the whole thread...but, you totally LOST this GAL at "LIFETIME MOVIE" comparisons!!! laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

I pinky swear to come back and try to read more introspectively to the other 2 pages of potentially thought provoking posts...but, I'm still peein' by panties here.... laugh laugh laugh

there is a way to be spiritual and not be religious because it happened in the bible when God choose unlikely people to do great things... religion is just a set of rules but spirituality is a gift from God....the holy spirit GET IT????

WHOOPSIE DAISY...careful there...you said "GOD"! laugh

Trust me gals...I'm in your corner(s)...but, in such a potentially volitile and touchy thread...don't you think you need to expound? I haven't yet, and perhaps your reasons are the same as mine, but I just LOVE to sit back, eat popcorn...and watch! drinker

geez it's only a debate..besides I told you that it was impossible to be spiritual without being religious..so don't be sorry just think of it as being "Enlighten" ..

Ummm...errm...care to "Enlighten" ME on your self-professed all-knowing above quote...for "debate's sake", of course. ohwell

Seems you are less than eloquently confusing "spirit" with a "god"...but, as usual...I could be wrong...
