Teaching abstinence is silly. It teaches NOTHING. My niece knows nothing really about sex. She is 16! I tell her.
She has had teaching in school? LOL LOL LOL. All she was taught was NOT to have sex! Period...Nothing else. We need sex ed in school again.

Now to pregnancies; I work in a place that sells the tests for pregancy...we sell up to a hundred a day. And that is just in this one store. We cannot keep them on the shelves! Young and old alike. WTF!!?? Have we not learned nothing as women about birth control? Most of these women are not smiling when they ask for them.

It is my personal opinion that life begins at conception. Mostly because I not only believe that way...but also because we now have more info on it. There have been children live outside the womb younger and younger. I believe 5 months is one of them? They still do abortion at that time. Partial live abortion by suction. What pain that baby must feel. I cannot imagine. That is most certainly murder in my books. If I were to be pregnant, and early on it was killed by some one even in the first trimester...I would most certainly file charges of murder.

The thing is...if they do not do that in this day and age...more men would get away with killing these unborn babies because they did not want them, even if the mother wanted it.

Remember; women are at their most deadliest time when pregnant. More women are killed while pregnant by their significant other then at any other time.

What it has to do with abortion is the fact that I do not agree with abortion, as I have said numerous times. The debate is wether or not abortion should be legalized. I am stating that if men and women both learned to say no to sex if they are not willing to conceive a child, then there would be almost no reason to even have abortions as an option.

it is stated that women have the choice about wether or not t o carry a baby, thus abortion is legal. I say if women and men both exercised their right to say no in the first place, when it truly matters, then there woul dbe no question of wether or not they are being allowed their right of choice.

My own belief is very simple. If you choose tohave sex, then yuo xhoose to take the chance or becoming pregnant. Yes there are all kinds of birth control optioins other than abstinance, and I for one am all for the ones that actually prevent, and not destroy after the fact.
I also believe that we should be teaching our children about safe sex right along with abstinacy. We should literally be teaching them this:

"If you do not want to have a child, then choose to not have sex; However, if you are going to choose to have sex, and you still do not wanna be a parent, here are your options for controling (not preventing, but lowering the risk of....) pregnancy. And not only list out the different forms of birth control, but sit down and discuss each form. Talk about the pros and cons for each one, some of the side affects that might accompnay a certain form, like a change in menstruation for taking the pill. Fully educate our children on the entire topic, not just abstinance.

This makes me wonder about a place where people do not really have abortions and now there are millions of starving kids dying every single day. Hmmmmmmmmmmm Is it more humane to have an abortion or to bring a child into this world not able to feed them?

Sorry, but obviously it isn't working.

I know that this a very touchy subject. I know that abortions are a somewhat accepted form of, for lack of a better word, birth control. This is not just a female thing because there was a male involved in this also. With all of the dieses you can catch today safe sex, I thought, would be the expected norm. I know that people will still fall into the moment and not be thinking straight. But guys remenber your shower caps if you are going for a swim. If not for you how about for the one you are with. Ladies, I am talking from a mans side here, if you told me no sex without protection I would have protection next time. This is not just a male or female problem it is share responsibility. Lets stop yelling about whos fault it is and work together to take care of the problem.

Both parties responsible and proactively preventative measures, gotta love it.

i don't think it's a simple question. I don't think it should be a form of birth control but there are other factors involved and until you are in that situation it's hard to say what you would do

I consider myself pro-life.

However, each situation is different and I would never condemn any woman who sought out that procedure.

They will search their conscience and ultimately do what they think is best, regardless of how someone else feels about it.

Also, it is only up to God to judge, not any of us.

It sometimes angers me that it is ok with some people that sending young men and women to war to be possibly killed is fine, but when it comes to an unborn fetus, that's wrong and it's killing.

This is so inconsistent with a pro-life view.

If you value life, you value it in ALL of it's forms, not just the unborn.
