I know that this a very touchy subject. I know that abortions are a somewhat accepted form of, for lack of a better word, birth control. This is not just a female thing because there was a male involved in this also. With all of the dieses you can catch today safe sex, I thought, would be the expected norm. I know that people will still fall into the moment and not be thinking straight. But guys remenber your shower caps if you are going for a swim. If not for you how about for the one you are with. Ladies, I am talking from a mans side here, if you told me no sex without protection I would have protection next time. This is not just a male or female problem it is share responsibility. Lets stop yelling about whos fault it is and work together to take care of the problem.

I belive in God not out of 'fear' of Him but out of his 'love' for us. People say the universe was not created by 'God' but by a single atom that held everything in the galaxy. (The Big Bang theory.) And God had nothing to do with it. My question is if there is no God where did that singularity come from. All lines of thought, if followed to the end will lead you to a created universe. If followed farther there would have to be some sort of faith in something without begining or end. Hence 'God' is real no matter by what name he (or she) is called. These are my personal beliefs I am not trying to change anyones beliefs or challenge them. I am just putting them out for a 'What if'.

Funches, You do have a much debated question posted here. Personally, I belive in creation. I do respect people who do not belive the same way. The only thing I can say is 'Let's just imagine for a minute'. If the whole universe did come from a singularity in space and all of what we are is just a 'lucky chance' we still have the question of what caused the singularity. But if you belive in a 'Higher Power' once again we are caught up in the chicken and the egg problem. I don't believe that there is any way to prove or disprove either argument at this time. The only thing either side can do is agree to disagree and at some point nothing became something. All it takes is some faith either in religon or mechanics of the universe. As for me, once again, I belive in God and you have free will to choose other wise.

Dawn, You have my deepest respect for you and the hard time you are going thru. I lost my mother at the age of 12. I am now in my fourties and think about her almost every day. As a Christian I have my faith to hold onto. But what helps me the most is my earliest memory of her knitting and me standing beside her chair, she put her knitting down pulled me into her lap and rocking me and singing to me. I hold onto that memory with both hands because it is the most precious thing to me. No amount of money would be enough for me to sell it. Look inside and find your own memory of your mother and it will bring you some peace. It did me.

Personally, I do believe in God. Does that mean only Christians will go to heaven after death? NO, all religons belive in their own 'Heaven' and it would be wrong for me to say their belifs are wrong. If what I read and still remember almost every religon has some sort of Heaven and Hell. To all the other Christans reading this, didn't Jesus tell his disiples that he had to leave because he had to teach others? I realive that is not exactly the wordage that is used. Did that mean the other people on this Earth or 'people' on other planets? I guess my point is don't refuse other peoples faith just because it is not yours.

I'm sorry, some people are gonna be angery about this. My belief is that the 'baby' is alive at the moment of conception. Abortion should only be allowed if the mother is going to die if the pregancy is carried out to full term. If the mother AND the father does not want the child it should be placed for adoption. Personal note: My wife and I wanted to adopt a child because she was not able to have one. One of those aborted fetusus could have been our child.
