Forgetting about Trump vs. Biden, are you OK with this large crime spike due to defunding police, demonizing police departments, liberal DA's, and current POLICIES on the left? Serious question.

I don't see evidence that any crime trends are due to defunding police or demonizing police departments. Maybe you have it backwards, as some towns disband their police departments because the police misbehave.

Democrats don’t give a damn about crime until it effects them. Because of the liberal DAs to the liberal mayors and governors, we are seeing murder, assaults , and now flash mob looting. This is the democrats idea of equity. They popularized the defund the police mantra and supported these crimes by never denouncing crime and actually paid folks to commit crimes by contributing to their bail funds and now they have removed bails and just releasing violent criminals on the street. My fix is to arm yourself and don’t hesitate to use it if you feel endangerd. Hopefully the next person brutally attacked will be one of these liberals that are soft on crime..

I try REALLY hard to see your point of view and look at things from the other side, but when one can just ignore the reality of what's going on out there and reduce it to an article about ONE town, in Alabama no less, with just 2,000 people, it just doesn't scream "I'm aware of what's going on out there". Or worse, "I'm aware but I just can't get myself to admit the Dems have alot to do with it so I'll just toss out this one tidbit I found online to hopefully detract".

Words are only words. Anybody with those beliefs shouldn’t be in any position of authority, wether it’s police or politicians like rev.Al sharpton calling Jews hymies . Maybe we should cancel anybody that has ever called a white man the h word or a black man the n word. Not many folks would be left. I only used one link because I'm not trying to educate you on all instances of people losing trust in their public servants. I know "defund the police" was awfully scary for Republicans, so you talk about it a lot, but I looked and all the instances I found of anything close to that was either budget cuts or situations like the one I linked (found via Google search in seconds) and I'm sure you could find more examples with little effort. That was a police department that was just fired. Not a Republican or Democratic thing.

With all the videos of antifa, blm, and some democratic reps. marching , carrying signs calling for death to cops . Liberal Mayors throwing their own police force under the bus. No wonder these thugs are acting like animals ( they SHOULD be shot like animals.) . What I can’t figure out is what is the reasoning behind these liberals pro crime policies and anti cop stance. Just because the liberal rant changes when people start taking notice, doesn’t mean we didn’t acknowledge their true beliefs.

No Liberal Reps called for the death of cops. None of those people are pro-crime, either. Maybe you're confusing some Conservative pundits angry about the FBI serving search warrants on Trump, or you take internet comment sections too seriously.

Oh, "Nothing to see here", is that it? You don't have to publicly boldly say "I am pro crime" to have policies that are, in fact, increasing crime. From Kamala's plead for everyone to contribute to bail out the blm rioters, soft on crime DA's, keeping the border porous, etc. etc. it is in fact contributing to an alarming increase in crime. You can't seriously believe otherwise.

I dont lock my door at night, only reason I close it, is to keep animals from walking in, I would hate to find a bear inside, not joking, I am very rural, my home joins a piece of national park 3,700eacres, my home is on top of a mountain, people dont go looking for trouble in rural areas like this, as it would be another disappearance! yes I have a nice big tractor with a backhoe, true redneck area are safer from crime generally speaking. yes it exists in areas with public housing, or close, ie where crackhead rented a place, but very safe place.

Unfortunately you just described the progressive democrats version of the future of all cities. Common sense seems to have evaded these “servants of the people” and their way of thinking. This November we have a chance to reverse these destructive rules and elect people that care about what’s important to the American people instead of these woke ridiculous ideas that make a few ignorant politicians feel all high and mighty.
