Waiting for the 2 strings with lights to arrive and then putting them on the new mesh panel fencing.
I've done that in the meantime, package arrived 2 hours early so plenty of time to get it done with full daylight :D |

Felt inspired to screw in the poleholder behind the gates to get prepped for storm winds.
Had to go to DIY, again, as the handyman had used up all the lag bolts I'd bought. Screwed in the poleholder, when done noticed I'd done it the wrong way around  I thought It'd have holes to screw the pole in on all 4 sides, but it only had holes on 2 sides.
So I could get the entire lot out again, which is hard work for me with 8mm lag bolts. But... done it! Now thinking of something that I can use to attach the pole to the fencing as it's not flush against it. So I need a larger bracket or something, which I of course don't have. It'll come though. First step's done! |
