presently my worst is my views on restaurants, honestly, I moderate a food group for local places, and I demand high standards, and eat out of town for better food, better service, better portions, sanitation, yeah, there are a few that are ok local, I put in Health dept page to check their grading for restaurants, & my big statement, "if they cant meet my standard, they can close the doors!" some are mom & pop places, but i call it like I see it, and support great food places. but I get a lot of hate. i do not care. i keep saying places that set the bar i am impressed with, or close their door. i know of dozens of great places within 45 miles, that are great, not so much in town.

yeah a big shocker, but thats how I lose friends, as my expectations at food places, my refusal to remove bad reviews, and ban people that cuss and abuse those expressing views. some places I wish I had took pics, of nastiness, or kid with dirty diaper climbing on tables, but tables not cleaned, before customer sit down to eat, after kid crawled all over table top, multiple tables. pizza place local notorious for hair in food, but locals want to support local? where I support even better food, actually 5 great italian places out of town better than ours, with better sanitation. depending what I want to eat, 1 direction for stromboli 1 direction, pizza another direction, lol.

trust me, being a food critic or food place critic is almost as bad as being a political or religious nut. I have had 2 women refuse to go out, because I refuse to eat where they wanted to go eat, based on sanitation, and a relative that worked there telling me about hidden nastiness, and I demanded somewhere better. 1 of the places made my cousin scoop mold off items in the food bar, and stir them, from sitting over night, yeah! she quit her first week, refused to serve bad food to public. i go 65 miles from my house for seafood, but 45 miles from town, & even owner of the food group has tried & wont go anywhere else for seafood. thanks to me showing him where the standard should be set on a semi local seafood place.

I'm doing a whole lot of nothing this weekend, the last couple have been way too hectic, I'm putting my feet up.

Handyman coming over. He's going to be an hour late as he just Apped me to be certain he was supposed to come over.
So there's me getting up early for nothing, grmble...
In any case, the garden side of the garage should get finished today :)

Today is my son's 17th birthday. 3 adult children are coming together to do something special for their autistic brother all weekend, each taking him out separately. It takes a village, but so worth it for he also gives unconditionally love like his mother. We all take turns with him. He has a different relationship with each of us. Me I'm the positive mom/ dad/ cheerleader/best friend and he chooses to only plays games with me so we play retro games/card games/board games and just hang out. I put on a show and he loves every minute of it. The loser has to sing to the winner. Sometimes you have to adapt and be that person they need. I'm mom and dad now and his presence is missed often, but especially on special occasions.

Just be kind, you never know someones story.

Anyways, I'm cleaning up, getting groceries, getting an ice cream cake (I don't know how, the fridge is still broken and there's a smell happening). F my life, but I'm still planning a party for 5 people. Lol
