Usually a dial says : off, hw (hot water )ch (central heating ) hw/ch

Yes, mine has that Mikey but as soon as hot water is run, ch cuts out. All boilers are like that. Don't know the name of it off hand. I need to go upstairs to see and I'm too lazy hehe

Only if I've just got the heating going and it's really cold, I will wait a bit before I have a shower.

all of our forced hot water heating systems that have tap water heaters do both at the same time here in the states over cast and warm

19C, rain, clouds clouds and bleeh... Temperature indoors keeps dropping. Now at 21,5C so pretty soon I'm going to need the heating at night.

By the time Dorian will get here it will be weakened and will hit us as a storm or severe storm. However, there is still time for change and uncertainty is high at the moment.

I used to watch for heavy snow in US because I knew we would suffer too and about a week later, we would get it. Hopefully Dorian will continue to lose power before it comes here 🤞

Hi Delightful, Hopefully,it will have lost much power by the time it gets to you. They are saying it has regained power and is a category 3 again. It is hitting the Carolinas today. It is 55F here now at 7:44am, should be high of 72F today, partly cloudy
