Hi Delightful, Hopefully,it will have lost much power by the time it gets to you. They are saying it has regained power and is a category 3 again. It is hitting the Carolinas today. It is 55F here now at 7:44am, should be high of 72F today, partly cloudy Hopefully Dorian will miss us completely. There's still plenty of time yet for Dorian to change path and it's not 100% certain it'll reach here. I live by the coast so not much chance of avoiding it if it does come. I knew there was a downside to moving here

as long as dorian stays together it will follow the gulfstream current which loops up and over from this side of the atlantic. it takes some serious wind patterns to push it off the basic path of the water current

Where were you before, Delightful? I lived in South Lanarkshire (which is more central) previous to living in Ayrshire. I'm on the west coast now.

Trying to figure out how to move UK further down towards France Mikey did suggest Crystal tow it but she reckons her car ain't up for the job. All suggestions are welcome

Will you lot shut up How would you like it if you turned on the tv to get the weather and they were just chit chatting? Have some respect! Meanwhile in the south of England : The weather is doing nothing, and it's going to be doing nothing tomorrow

I looked it up :) I bet that makes a lot of difference! 7 years ago I moved only 24km to the west of the island/peninsula, stone throw from the coast. And even that makes SO much difference! Mostly the storms, horrible. It seems to always be windy here, often even in summer.
