As Trump Visits El Paso to Sell His Wall, The Mayor Refutes Trump's False Claims About The City

"Trump is visiting El Paso on Monday for his first rally of 2019 – as he continues to try to rally support for the wall".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-visits-el-paso-sell-174344996.html

We can all be pretty sure now that all this crap about the border wall is nothing more than a fabrication made up by Trump so he can be able to say he actually did something. Something he can put his signature on. If it wasn't all a fabricated, made up lie, California Governor Gavin Newsom wouldn't have pulled his National Guard out of it. It's another Trump lie and he knows it. Most likely he has people telling him what's really going on at the border. Nothing unusual most likely. Just Trump trying to steal money from the taxpayer so he can build up his already over-inflated ego.

To most people, all this is common knowledge. It's just more of that far right "lie" machine. All indictments so far,

Just in case you weren't keeping track . . . Hillary Clinton Benghazi "Investigation" 4 years 0 indictments 0 convictions Hillary Clinton Email "Investigation" 2 years 0 indictments 0 convictions.

1) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, was arrested in July 2017 and pleaded guilty in October 2017 to making false statements to the FBI. He got a 14-day sentence.

2) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted on a total of 25 different counts by Mueller’s team, related mainly to his past work for Ukrainian politicians and his finances. He had two trials scheduled, and the first ended in a conviction on eight counts of financial crimes. To avert the second trial, Manafort struck a plea deal with Mueller in September 2018 (though Mueller’s team said in November that he breached that agreement by lying to them).

3) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide, and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But in February 2018 he agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.

4) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty in December 2017 to making false statements to the FBI.

5-20) 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies were indicted on conspiracy charges, with some also being accused of identity theft. The charges related to a Russian propaganda effort designed to interfere with the 2016 campaign. The companies involved are the Internet Research Agency, often described as a “Russian troll farm,” and two other companies that helped finance it. The Russian nationals indicted include 12 of the agency’s employees and its alleged financier, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

21) Richard Pinedo: This California man pleaded guilty to an identity theft charge in connection with the Russian indictments, and has agreed to cooperate with Mueller. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison and 6 months of home detention in October 2018.

22) Alex van der Zwaan: This London lawyer pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with Rick Gates and another unnamed person based in Ukraine. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and has completed his sentence.

23) Konstantin Kilimnik: This longtime business associate of Manafort and Gates, who are currently based in Russia, was charged alongside Manafort with attempting to obstruct justice by tampering with witnesses in Manafort’s pending case last year.

24-35) 12 Russian GRU officers: These officers of Russia’s military intelligence service were charged with crimes related to the hacking and leaking of leading Democrats’ emails in 2016.

36) Michael Cohen: In August 2018, Trump’s former lawyer pleaded guilty to 8 counts — tax and bank charges, related to his finances and taxi business, and campaign finance violations — related to hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with Donald Trump, as part of a separate investigation in New York (that Mueller had handed off). But in November, he made a plea deal with Mueller too, for lying to Congress about efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

37) Roger Stone: In January 2019, Mueller indicted longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone on 7 counts. He accused Stone of lying to the House Intelligence Committee about his efforts to get in touch with WikiLeaks during the campaign and tampering with a witness who could have debunked his story.

The law might have already been there. But it was Trump who decided to enforce it.

Separated migrant families demand millions from US agencies

"HOUSTON (AP) — Eight immigrant families who were separated under Trump administration policy filed claims Monday seeking millions of dollars in damages for what a lawyer called "inexplicable cruelty" that did lasting damage to parents and children".

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/separated-migrant-families-demand-damages-us-government-61001986

But then again, I look at it another way too. The parents are directly 100% responsible for their actions and the consequences thereof. The US govt should fight each lawsuit all the way to the US Supreme Court. In addition, these lawsuits should be considered a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States, expanding US authority to apprehend and dispense justice to those violating US immigration law.

Yes, the Mueller investigation is costly. But the millions seized from Manafort have it on track to break even

"WASHINGTON – Sometime soon, federal authorities will begin selling off what's left of Paul Manafort's life, a small fortune amassed through a decade of illicit lobbying work. When they do, the investigation into Russian election interference stands to breach an unusual milestone: bringing in more money than it has cost".

Here are some more facts.

National debt tops $22 trillion for the first time as experts warn of ripple effects

In part,

"WASHINGTON – The national debt surpassed $22 trillion for the first time on Tuesday, a milestone that experts warned is further proof the country is on an unsustainable financial path that could jeopardize the economic security of every American". The Treasury Department reported the debt hit $22.012 trillion, a jump of more than $30 billion in just this month.

The national debt has been rising at a faster rate following the passage of President Donald Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax-cut package a little more than a year ago and as the result of congressional efforts to increase spending on domestic and military programs. The nation has added more than $1 trillion in debt in the last 11 months alone.

House Democrats gear up for showdown over Mueller report

"WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats are stepping up their efforts to investigate President Donald Trump and his associates, hiring new lawyers and staff as they take on oversight responsibility and prepare for a showdown over access to special counsel Robert Mueller's final Russia report".

http://www.apnews.com/82f7d6eb9edc4f7a9b3d97613a491ea6

It's called "Oversight". And without it, Trump and his cronies WOULD run wild with corruption. Without oversight, they would get away with it. Just like all the crap Trump got away with his first 2 years. All Republican Gov and no Oversight = bad combination = Corruption.

Hard to ignore all the immoral ideas of Democrats.... here's a real life scenario of pushing grandma over the cliff in her wheelchair. Flashbacks of
Jack Kevorkian set to today's votes:

New York’s Medical Aid in Dying Act was reintroduced last month.
“Medical aid in dying is overwhelmingly supported by New Yorkers. Now we know it’s overwhelmingly supported by New York doctors. We will get this law passed in New York because it’s the right thing to do,” said Democratic Sen. Diane Savino, one of the bill’s major sponsors, in a Compassion and Choices news release.

As New York prepares to move forward on its legislation, a ruckus has broken out in neighboring New Jersey over a similar bill there, according to The Washington Free Beacon. A Democratic maneuver that allowed legislation supporting assisted suicide to clear New Jersey’s Senate Committee on Health, Human Services, and Seniors has been contested by the bill’s opponents.

WHY NOT -- New York already says its okay to murder delivered live babies. Wrap them in a blanket and "make the baby comfortable" while the doctor discusses with the new mom whether or not to kill the infant. Sure, let's kill the youngest and the oldest and see where it stops...or maybe the middle-aged rich folks will be next. oh dear me , what shall we do?

perhaps start with not blindly following Trumps claims
after all, he already admitted on OPEN mic he states things without knowing if they are true .... research is our friend when listening to such a man

http://www.nbcnews.com/card/fact-check-new-york-allows-abortion-moments-birth-n967641

http://time.com/5520715/state-union-donald-trump-fact-check/

the state did not advocate keeping anyone 'comfortable'. It was actually a statement from a democratic governor

"Northam, a pediatric neurologist, defended the bill and explained in an interview how he would handle a situation in which a woman went into labor during a pregnancy that involved “severe deformities” or a “fetus that’s nonviable.”

“The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired,” Northam told the radio station WTOP. “And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

the term 'resuscitated' implies action after life has ended, it is not a reference to killing a life.

Personally, I am consistently anti taking of human life, from womb to grave. however, I can understand how much mental illness and depression is in the world. I do not know if I want laws based strictly on morals, or we would have alot of 'liars' in jail, alot of 'adulterers', alot of 'enviers' ... et cetera.

I actually do not support abortion or suicide. I dont see either as a 'moral' choice per se. however, again, legislating morals is something I can see being quite complex and potentially dangerous.

Add another lie to list. Trump and Another dic measuring contest.

Trump Lied About Getting Special Permission From El Paso Fire Dept, Says Fire Dept

"President Donald Trump told the crowd at his rally in El Paso, Texas, on Monday that he got special permission from the El Paso Fire Department to let 10,000 people inside the El Paso County Coliseum.

El Paso Fire Department spokesman Enrique D. Aguilar told The El Paso Times that not only did the fire department not give Trump special permission, but the Coliseum had about 6,500 people in it during the president’s rally. Aguilar says that number was at capacity and well within its standard allowance".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-lied-getting-special-permission-171816187.html

The spokesman added that “it might be 10,000 with the people outside” total, but the fire department didn’t track the number of people outside the venue. While the number Trump quoted about his attendees might not have been far off, he blatantly lied that he got special permission, according to Aguilar.

The crowd at O'Rourke's rally was incomaparable to President Trump's crowd. President Trump spoke to about 10,000 supporters while O'Rourke spoke to a community baseball field sized crowd. 6500 Trumpers were inside with about 3,000 outside watching teletrons.

At one point, the noise coming from Trump's rally caught O'Rourke off guard, he actually paused for a second.

Says something that a new up and coming still pulled so many, especially considering those numbers also MARCHED prior.

A sitting POTUS should be expected to have large crowds come out to see them, especially one with an obviously cultlike following as Trump.

The numbers are all over the place depending on the source. But I have a feeling Orourke did large numbers for someone as new to the scene as he is.
