The president's speech Tuesday began with him saying his administration "has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country." The comment was followed by laughter from diplomats in the crowd and Trump saying, "I didn't expect that reaction, but that's OK."

and then ...

Hours later, when asked by reporters about the laughter, Trump said, "Well, that was meant to get some laughter, but it was great."

I think the UN members should have read Art of the Deal, where Trump explained what is apparently one of his most effective tactics

“The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration—and a very effective form of promotion.”

Its just too bad many of his followers think hyperbole is literal truth.

Trump has done a lot for this country for those of us who are willing to take advantage of it. He would have done a lot more if democrats weren't blocking him. If there is a red wave in Nov, you will see great things happen for our country.

Donald Trump Praises Women Supporting Brett Kavanaugh: “It Is A Beautiful Thing To See”

"Edition
“Women for Kavanaugh, and many others who support this very good man, are gathering all over Capital Hill in preparation for a 3-5 P.M. VOTE,” he wrote. “It is a beautiful thing to see – and they are not paid professional protesters who are handed expensive signs. Big day for America!”

The latter part of his tweet is a callback to his conspiracy theory that many of Kavanaugh’s protestors, specifically Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher, were “paid professionals” hired by George Soros. The two women confronted Sen. Jeff Flake to call for the FBI investigation".

So, In other words, If you backed Kavanaugh, you're great. But if you don't, You're a lying slut just trying to take a "good man" down. That's the way it sounds to me.

It shows some women think for ourselves and looked at the facts. Some were guided by emotion instead of facts and evidence. Some had political motives.

Trump said soybean prices have gone up. They're near decade-lows.

"President Donald Trump said soybean prices have gone up.
They have fallen to near decade lows since his trade war with China began.
China has turned to South American countries to replace US soybeans.
Soybean stocks are approaching record levels".

"President Donald Trump claims US soybeans have largely held up against his trade war with China. But tariffs have pushed prices to lows not seen since 2008.
"And soybeans are going up, and things are going up," he said at a press conference in New York on Wednesday. "And we've had very little hurt, from what I’ve done. In fact, the markets have gone up, and the farmers are going to do great."

In fact, the markets have gone up, and the farmers are going to do great." I sure hope someone asked why then was 12 billion dollars sent to the farmers? I know Trump likes bravado, but don't piss on our heads and tell us it's raining.

WE already know he throws things out there without knowing or caring if they're true, just to see if it sticks.

So, you two think we should let other countries continue to tax our products while we barely have any tax on our?

who cares what he 'strives' for in social status.

with intelligence, maybe he should 'strive' to pick up a book or two or three, and READ.

Hmmm..and you graduated from Wharton in what year?

You did. Right. ...No?....no college?..no MBA

But you and others mock someone who did .
Mocking someone who did is fine. As long as you yourself have reached that educational level. Because if you haven't then you really have no idea of the intelligence it takes. How could you
.
Isn't that right, Chuck?

First, I didnt have a rich powerful daddy to make sure I could go to Wharton. So I went where I could afford, the university in my town, and at 16 having graduated in the eleventh grade. But this is not about me as I have never have and will never run for POTUS or make wild claims about how big my brain is or how smart I am.

Second, I dont know how smart he might have been ONCE, but evidence NOW, to me, indicates he is about as bright as a third grader on a playground.

Third, He doesnt have an MBA either, but a bachelor of science in economics.

Just who is smart..because one reads a book and passes a test doesn't make them smart altho it's considered as being such..Nothing but retention and being able to retain information long enough to pass a test..wow..sorry if I'm not impressed..It doesn't make one smart..now how they use that information is what really determines how smart they are..smokin

You only learn certain things in a classroom. I'm sure Trump learned a ton at home from his parents and being exposed to the business world all his life.

smart: having or showing a quick witted intelligence

intelligence: the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations : reason also : the skilled use of reason

I am impressed with the ability to reason, book learning or not. And this POTUS, does not impress me.

His father didn't attend the school MS., Nor did he take the test or pass the grades.

He did

As for your evidence of his current third grade education.. what would that evidence be?

Trump helped parents shield millions from taxes: New York Times

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in tax schemes that included cases of fraud in which he and his siblings helped their parents dodge taxes, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-taxes/trump-helped-parents-shield-millions-from-taxes-new-york-times-idUSKCN1MC2OM

1. Trump has never released any year of tax returns. 2. He is the first major party presidential candidate not to release any returns. 3. He is the first president in the modern era not to release any tax returns. 4. In 2014, Trump said this about his taxes: "If I decide to run for office, I'll produce my tax returns, absolutely. And I would love to do that." 5. In January 2016, Trump said this about his taxes: "I have very big returns, as you know, and I have everything all approved and very beautiful and we'll be working that over in the next period of time." 6. Trump has insisted since the 2016 campaign that he cannot release his taxes because he is being audited. Richard Nixon released his taxes in 1973 when he was a) president and b) under audit. 7. Trump has said his personal financial disclosure forms tell you much more about his finances than a tax return. That's not right. 8. In 2017, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow got her hands on the first two pages of Trump's 2005 tax return. It showed he had earned $150 million and paid $38 million in taxes that year. 9. In 2016, The New York Times reported on Trump's 1995 tax return, which showed he reported $916 million in losses that year alone. 10. At the first 2016 general election debate, Hillary Clinton suggested Trump's refusal to release his tax returns was rooted in the fact he didn't pay any taxes at all. "That makes me smart," Trump retorted. Liar, cheat, fraud, those are FACTS!
hmmmmm, maybe you should be the new IRS. Our country would have no deficit and we could pay back china the billions we owe them. If only the IRS had your insight about other peoples business like their tax situation. I wonder why they haven't brought up charges or even mentioned it. Must be spending all their time chasing reverend Al.

Another Trump delusion.

Trump blasts 'terrible' Chicago crime, but figures are down

"ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — President Donald Trump says he's directed his attorney general to "help straighten out the terrible shooting wave" in Chicago.

Trump told officers at the International Association of Chiefs of Police in Orlando on Monday that "the crime spree is a terrible blight" and "there's no reason for what's going on there."

He's encouraging the city to use the controversial "stop and frisk" policing strategy.

Trump says politicians who spread "dangerous anti-police sentiment make life easier for criminals and more dangerous for law-abiding citizens and police." Trump says, "it must stop now."

Chicago police said last week that there have been 102 fewer homicides and nearly 500 fewer shooting victims in the city this year, compared to the first nine months of 2017 "

This may be where some of his supporters get there way of being? Ignore facts and statistics. Just blurt out whatever you think. It doesn't matter how ignorant, stupid and uninformed you sound to others.

There's a new sheriff in town ladies and gentlemen and he ain't playing by the same old business as usual rules. He's actually looking at each and every aspect of what makes this country tic and is tweaking it or axing it, what ever needs to be done to make it better wether he steps on anybody's toes or not. That's one of the requirements to make a successful president.
