GM is saving billions thanks to Trump and his tax cuts. They were supposed to use that saving to trickle down to regular people. However, they will save more billions by moving production to Mexico. Their investors will make more money and the rich get richer while regular people get screwed. This was the lie in Trump tax cuts.

Trickle-down economics didn't work when Reagan was president. At least not for long. And it's not going to work for long under Trump. If it works out for Trump-like it did Reagan, by 2020 things will be sliding right back in the hole that Obama worked hard to get us out of.
