I'm still unclear why he's being charged... Did those women not eat?

I don't think this can be considered a crime. He maybe a lousy person, but there was no agreement of who would pay.

Wouldn't it be easier to just meet for sex and do dinner after?
I mean, I'm sure there's something in the fridge you can make us to eat? Seriously tho, I don't make up excuses if the date is not working out. I just politely tell them that they are not who I am looking for. But, I do keep my word so even if I imply that I will pay, I pay. The only time I wouldn't pay is if she insists. I'm not a thief or a liar. |

There were some instances where the woman did not pay his half and that's the crimes he was charged for, I beleive.

I always do separate checks on an intital date.
If some guy took off without paying his check, that's not my problem..*I* have money for my check..what *I* ate/ drank.. Sure..go call the cops...you can't make someone pay for a service they didn't use (food they did not order nor eat). I'd claim I just met him, and he suggested we stop by for dinner/ lunch...(which isn't exactly a lie..) |

Oh, and by the way, in New England, we would never say "dine and dash". but rather "chew and screw", "screw" being a term not only used for you-know-what, but also for "leaving rapidly".... Like when the cop comes across a bunch of kids partying in a parking lot, he will just put up his thumb and say "All a ya, screw" We called it the same thing in NYC. We would go into a diner in two separate groups...eat up a storm then " pick a fight" with the other group. Shoving match takes place we push each other out the door..then we all would jump in the cars and split. In the commotion the diner owner, workers and guests didn't know what was happening until we were peeling out of there |

Non violent, douchebag moves
I'd make him wash dishes for months in those restaurants |

Doesn't make it right. It was just the way it was |

Yeah, confusing to me too, as there were two people that did partake in services rendered. From a business perspective you would think the women he left hanging would be responsible for the whole thing, then the women would have to sort it out with the dasher. Maybe that's where the felonies come in, I don't know though, seems like that would be more of a civil case. |

I think he was ordering expensive bottles of wine plus an expensive meal and apitizer. Felonies is fitting for the crime. It seemed to be a sport to him. I've never had it happen but I did meet a guy who said he had done it. Most places have cameras. This brings awareness that it's a crime and you could go to jail.

Who meets up with a man , that doesn't at least pay for His meal.
That's why if a woman doesn't know the man well, go for just coffee. |
