Two seasons and each is about a different story and thus a different group of people that share a secret.

Alex Rider - 2020 UK series - 7,5 IMDB rating
My rating is a solid 10 so far. It's excellent, the story takes off real fast too.

Based on the novel series by Anthony Horowitz, Alex Rider tells the story of a teenager who is recruited by the UK Secret Intelligence Service after his uncle's death to infiltrate a dubious correctional academy that caters to the children of the rich.

And this is seriously impressive:
It took six months of intensive training for Otto Farrant to develop the skills necessary to play teenage super-spy Alex Rider in the eponymous TV series.

The British actor learned Krav Maga and took up climbing, as well as snowboarding lessons and sessions with a personal trainer in preparation for the role.


I've seen him do some Krav Maga and bloody 'ell, he's good!!
Normally you can tell when someone is new to martial arts but he's a natural! It looked like he'd been doing it all his life.

I LOVE Alex Rider. I watched the seasons as soon as they were out. And yes, Otto is the bomb!!

I'm hooked as well, haha.
I think I never gave it a go before because it could be seen as a kiddie/teenage thing, but it's not.

Apparently it has been renewed for a season 3! YAY! Filming of that is said to wrap up in March so maybe, perhaps, per chance, we get to see it this year as well!

Just watched the last currently available episode of Alex Rider. Now I really can't wait for the next season!!

Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla is out!!

I'm rewatching season 1 first as I cannot remember enough to get on with the 2nd.

Thank goodness Vikings: Valhalla has been renewed for a 3rd season!!

Personally I find it better than Vikings.

I just finished the mini series Kaleidoscope on Netflix and really liked it

I watched The Meg the other day with Jason Statham.
I always thought I'd seen it, turns out I hadn't. I was confused with another shark movie.

There's going to be The Meg 2 later on this year, again with Jason Statham.
Can't wait!

TV series in the Robert Langdon sequel, set before the movies when he was still younger.

I started watching it when it first was released, but didn't like it so I quit.
Now, however, I am enjoying it!?
It's not as fast-paced as the movies, which makes sense as they have 10 episodes to tell the story, but it's really quite good.

Hoax -2023
True story of a Californian woman & mother who faked her own kidnapping with the help of her ex-boyfriend.
Making up stories that her husband beat her, in the past her mother beat her etc. etc. none of which was true.

She felt empty, not seen. I guess she's the victim of someone who's considered pretty. I've heard that happens more often to physically good-looking people as everyone admires them for that and never really take an interest in who they are, the person behind the pretty face.
I suppose when you're not so strong that can screw you up pretty good in the head.

As it is she's still in prison.

Plane -2023 - 6,6 IMDB rating

I really liked it! More than just your average plane disaster movie, there's a bit of an extra to it.

Black Snow - Jan 2023 - 7,3 IMDB rating
AUS crime/police series with Travis Fimmel in the lead.
6 episodes, unknown so far if it gets renewed, did end with an opening for that though.

REALLY good series about a Brissie police sergeant going to central Queensland to solve a 25 yr old cold case. Keeps you guessing right till the end who the heck did it.

So far it's really good.

The Night Agent has been renewed for a 2nd season! Hooray!
It was a really good series.
