Just wondering if others react the same to this:
Whenever I see a man searching for a woman between 20 - 69, I feel he's either - extremely desperate - Doesn't know what he wants I know you can argue that he's got an open mind, but the above is my instant reaction. And whenever I come across it, I delete right away --> I don't want a man who can't even make up his mind whether he wants a 20 year old or a 69 year old. Open mind or not, makes a heck of a difference! Any here feel the same way, even if it's just an instinctive first reaction? * And for men: simply replace "man" with "woman"  *

I am always getting mail, nudges from guys who show on their profile they want someone, say something-60. So why do they send me stuff? I delete immediately..never reply. If you are insincere about the age you want, go sniff another bush. That is my 'instant reaction' to the age thingy :-) |

Op don't you feel sometimes they are just attracted to your picture ...
and go ck you out... because in your case you do look young... but they come in and see your age ... that's all I think it is ... least with most... I have had them come at me in all ages even with messages but of course... I am the one that decided their fate ...rubs hand together awhahaahah ...

On another site, my range was set 18-92, as the system limited who could mail you based on that set of numbers. Considering that "dating" sites are merely social networking experiments (running amok), I will socialize with anyone regardless of age or gender.
Now, whether or not there is attraction, interest or commonalities is completely another issue. It doesn't hurt to talk to anyone, you might be their only social contact/outlet. Plus, I fee that you can learn something from anyone/everyone. (Or teach them) |
