i think because of culture and it will sound that.that lady can be prostitute Are you freaking Kidding me !!!!   
I am one that does send emails to men all the time Guess what I even send them to women... I am not nor have I ever been a prostitute.!!!!! I have always been that if I see something someone posts something I like I send an email.. If I see a profile that is wonderfully written I send an email.. I guess each to their own ^^^ I can vouch for this about Sitka, it's quite refreshing actually

I agree culture plays a big part but I also think nerves do to.
Is the much difference between face to face and internet? Yes and no but the feelings are still the same. |

Well I would say for myself. Fear would play a big role. I am not someone who would go on sites like this and it is difficult sometime so start a confirmation when you are not even sure how to start it.

writing a fairly positive profile and then just start doing it.. more you do it better you get at it |

i guess, its a lack of confidence to send a letter first. specially those shy type kind of women and also fear of rejection.

Kind of pist me off... I guess it comes down to different cultures on what is accepted protocol. I personally think if you are shy then the internet would be awonderful place to work on it and build that confidence. |
