When people say that you should 'fear God' what they are really talking about is the law of God, or the law of vibration in this universe that is the law of causation. This is how the law works. It does not pass judgment. It is like the law of gravity. You jump off of a cliff, you will plunge to your physical death. That is the law of gravity. The law of vibration will draw unto you, that which you place your observation and attention on, and like attracts like. He who lives by the sword will die by the sword.

absence of 'proof' is not proof of absence,,,, well said... Nobody forces anyone to believe in God. Certainly when we die we will see what to believe. THEN IT WILL BE TOO LATE TO TAKE A DECISION. REMEMBER, THE UNBELIEVING WILL HAVE THERE PARTS IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNS WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH=REVELATION.21:8.

God is also our judge. But yes, he is also a loving God. Everything good on this planet comes from him. Every negative feeling, disease comes from satan and his minions. We were all given free will to give into the things that don't come from God. Lusting, greed,hatred, racism,prejudice,dissention etc. These all come from the negative forces, who do have the power to influence us to sin. As mortal humans, we don't really have the right to judge. I could tell someone how, if they don't repent their sins, believe that Jesus is their Lord and savior, and how he did on the cross so that if we prayed to him for forgiveness, and repented, we could save ourselves from going to that horrible place called hell when we leave our physical bodies. In the Bible it clearly states that no person should be a judge or hypocrite. God does the judging. We don't have that right.

Let me guess? Some other author who thinks he's a genius. Uses some science and mathematical equations to prove his theory. Sorry, it won't work for me.

we wouldn't be here today if God wasn't a loving God. I could give all my reasons why i don't believe God loves us because i had it bad alot. But if i think of all the good He has done for me then who am i to complain. I still have breathe in my lungs and hope for another day. My faith won't allow me to believe any other way. God is all about love, some people just lack the capacity to see it.

My final thoughts on Christianity, or the message is that it is the message that is important IF and only if it is a message of love. When any religion becomes a tool to control the masses trying to tell people what to do and what to believe and then telling the that if they do not believe such and such, that they will go to hell, they they have lost me, and a lot of others. I think people should focus on the actual message of love and stop trying to convince everyone who's myth is more accurate than the other's.

That's precisely it, Conrad. We have no one else to blame when things don't go well for us. It's satan who sends the temptations our way, which we can either pray for help or give into the sin.

Don't think you should take it literally. What was symbolic of what I had stated above? I do take it literally. To me the Bible is God's law. IMO, anyone who doesn't take the Bible seriously, very well should, as they will regret it someday. But you don't have to take my word for it.

He pours his wrath on the unrighteous when they die. We can either live for God, or live for the love of the world. For example, the love of money, materialism, greed, possessions etc.
