I do hope that when I get older, I'm not as cynical about love and life as some people in this thread are.

I do hope that when I get older, I'm not as cynical about love and life as some people in this thread are. you won't be because you have already made up your mind about that I think the bitterness sometimes comes from those who were not able to turn another into what they expected or they were disappointed at the failings of another life will have it's disappointments but they are not the fault of our new & future partners

This is something everyone needs to remember. Unfortunately, some take whatever has happened in previous relationships and assume that all men or women are like those they've previously been with.

I would travel to the ends of the Earth if that is what it took. Traveling is fun and you can't always expect love to come to your front door.

For a vast majority though, working at love and a relationship is too much of a hassle though and giving up or complaining is an easier route. I just have the opinion that if you don't want to go out and look for her/him and do some of the work... why should they bother to look and work for you? Not speaking of those that do not have the ability for whatever reason of course.

The timing, the circumstances, people that surround us, everything will just set and flow if it´s meant to be, if not it will be an extra experience for the book. Im not saying to go and kiss every flower of the garden, just go with that hunch we feel.
