i think everyone can date who they want by age or not by age :)but all i was trying to state :) that if a person don't talk to another cause of a age they judged that person by their age and not by who they are right?????????? thats a fact right???????????? and then why i said its narrow minded cause it is more narrow cause less age groups right???? and cause of the judge before you know a person is narrow too :) so simple it LOGIC lolll and a fact :)     
I totally got it the first time you said it. To me this was your opinion and you stated it well. People can agree or disagree but I certainly did not see you attacking anyone. You even said "just a suggestion". I happened to agree with it, but even if not you made it clear it was no biggie to you. |

Having a preference does not make someone narrow or judgmental it's about freedom to make our own choices and living with those choices. I didn't see anywhere in this thread where someone said anything like "ALL YOUNG PEOPLE ARE IMMATURE" (that is a judgement). I am free to choose not to wear a yellow jacket because I do not like yellow. I'm not judging yellow, it's just my personal preference, ya dig? |

What cheerup is saying is. How do you even know what yellow is? If you never saw yellow and yet it exist than you are walking a narrow path and not seeing the whole color scheme. What your saying is you know what yellow already is and made a choice. He's not telling you, you can't make a choice, but asking did you see the color first before choosing if you like it or not. |

No I couldn't trust her cooking. She had a lazy eye. I always thought she was looking at something so I would look too. Kinda makes you paranoid and chit.......

I very much understand what all the words you have written mean. It would help if you used them in the correct syntax and employed some sort of punctuation. Now, back to the point. It was my observation based on your previous posts that you assumed anyone who does not wish to date outside of their age group was being judgmental. The above statement suggests a very specific occurrence that is obviously not the case all of the time. |

Cheerup, you started the thread to ask for opinions on age when it comes to dating, correct? I gave my opinion and then you told me repeatedly that I should expand my horizons and not judge people on age. Why ask for opinions when you were just going to tell people to do what you thought they should be doing? And then when I said I was just giving my response and not looking for suggestions, MG said "That's what we call stuck in the mud" and then went on to explain what he meant, which seemed to describe Cheerup's way of responding to opinions he did not agree with. Whether he was describing me or Cheerup, it was being judgmental. And yes, MG, calling someone a "late maturity bloomer" because they do not agree with your views is also being judgmental. Cheerup, you say that you don't think I'm really reading what you're writing. Truth is, your writing is very hard to follow. In the past, you've said that sometimes you choose to use punctuation and sometimes you won't. Well, in this thread, you haven't used much and it makes all your sentences run together. That along with the smiley overload, it's tough to follow what you're saying. If you want to make it more understandable, take a little more time to be more clear in the way you write. Then you said I was lying when I said you didn't seem to know what age range I preferred. I was only going by what you said here, after I asked you what narrow view you thought I had. lolllllllllll i don't really know you that well but from what i see its narrow to not open a horizon on age group in general or to judge a person by a age by saying i not dating them cause that age is immature before even knowing the person :) thats narrow too:)
You didn't seem to know the age range I had mentioned, which is why I said what I said. There was no lying. Anyway, my preference is based on experience and what works best for me. I'm not asking anyone else to agree with me. I am also not asking for suggestions, because they are not going to change my preference when it comes to ages. |

Maybe some are getting hung up on the word's connotation instead of the meaning. Maybe ignorant or naive is better for them, but that even sounds more harsh even though the meaning might fit. Sorry I was thinking of how to discribe not seeing something, not the word judge. |
