Has anyone here heard of "Temporary Marriage" among the Islamic faith? This is where they get to be sexual and sexually abuse children and adults of all ages under the guise of temporary marriage. I am not saying every branch of this religion still allows it although some do follow it.

I think any religion can be seen as 'extreme' when you start to disect their books and the actions and consequences found within them (christianity has what is interpreted by some as Gods harsh judgements of flooding and leprosy,,etc,,,, islam has what is interpreted by some as harsh judgements of death for infidels)


and many 'followers' do disect and interpret the most violent passages in those books to condone and promote violence,,,

I know mostly peaceful christians, who dont consider hateful or violent christians to be being true to christianity

That comes from the Laws of the Clerics who have placed words upon Islam by the Books of Laws.

I have no problem with any religion, many i dont neccessarily agree with. the thing i cant get past is governments who kill their own people and squash them if they dont agree with their own leaders, ie, syria and iran just name two. so if this is part of islam, no thanks

Does not the Quaran command the faithful to take up a holy war against all NOT of Islam? You may call this a metaphor all you want but I cannot see it that way especially in nations where Islam is prevalent violence against "Infidels" (Christians and especially Coptic Christians) is quite commonplace.

There are many reasons why I have reason to fear Islam and many of them are for the same reasons I fear Christianity.

In the Bible (Not to thump it) are basic truths wrapped up in dogma meant to explain Christianity as a way of life exactly like the Quaran but it is a tool of the Roman Catholic Church. When you strip past the lies like a Quote Christians are famous for "I am the way the truth and the light," and change it to not be a self serving statement as to why we should worship a Jewish Carpenter and take it for what his real words were, "Through my teachings (or words) is the way, the truth, and the light."

A lot of the Quaran is self serving exactly like the Bible. I have read both. The Quaran give license to commit a host of rather violent and criminal self serving actions of vicious sadistic perverts against those refusing to embrace Islam. THESE ARE NOT THE ACTIONS BY MEN OF PURITY AND LIGHT!

Christians preach love and most of them are guilty as hell of hating Jews and Muslim but Islam is not about love and tolerance. It does not embrace the ways of others. It commands subjugation and murder through any means. Islam teaches that it is blessed to die for Allah in Jihad. What kind of loving God, Christian or otherwise tolerates murder and views suicidal acts to kill others blessed when these victims have done nothing wrong? Rockets are targeted at Israeli civilians. If one out of a hundred killed in an attack really deserved to die then what of the 99 innocents who died? Allah will sort them out?

In the Bible it teaches to "beware of false shepherds" and yet the very church itself is a false shepherd. You cannot look at all Christians the same since I was raised Lutheran and was taught to ask questions. What makes you think Mohammed is not one of those false Shepherds? Like Islam there is more than one flavor of Christianity. And I will bet money on you never read a Bible. Not to try to say I am one up on you I did read both Bible and Quaran.

HUGE question, if Islam was born of Abraham like the Hebrews were, that makes them brothers does it not? So why are you killing and advocating murder on Judea? Your own brothers? Islam is perpetually caught in a hate cycle that will be the undoing of Islam eventually. The violence in the middle east will not stop and why? One Cleric disagrees with the other one and suddenly they are feuding and they are trying to kill each other. At least Christians don't feud like Islam does over stupid and trivial things.

Likewise why is it if a woman is the victim of a rape she becomes a criminal and subject to death? 4 male witnesses are needed to spare her the death penalty? That is civilized? Women and children are property? That also is supposed to be civilized? Women must cover themselves up because men cannot control themselves? God (Allah) created everything including man and woman and women are vile and evil things? They must cover up their perverted bodies? So Islamic men are that out of control? Allah's own creation should not be celebrated? What am I not getting here????

Like I said I have turned my back on the lies of Christianity but to avoid hypocrisy on my behalf I read a Quaran and I will admit it was a translated one. Jesus ascended into heaven. Mohammad ascended into heaven. Everyone says they are right. I will not ever bow down to God or Allah or Satan or Rue Paul. I refuse to. I chose however to walk in grace the best I can with my fellow man irrespective of their differences. I don't rob, cheat, or steal. I give respect when I meet others for the first time. I do not go out of my way to hurt or harm anyone. I don't feel a good life is a path to heaven. It is a path to a clear conscious. When the time comes I will give God his (her, or its') dues. No one knows what to expect after death. And to know Islam would do me harm given the chance for my refusal of embracing Islam and to know it spells out a death penalty for me... what am I to think?

There is more to heaven and earth than Christianity, Islam, or any of the pathetic attempts of man to grasp at the unknown and intangible. If you do wrong in the name of religion like killing a woman for complaining about being raped (and many Islamic towns still do indeed use Stoning as a punishment) is a sin worthy of a hell so dark and so cold that a lake of fire would be a vastly inferior substitute for those who judged and killed her. Why is it good people must follow your way or die? Why must Sharia Law be so lob sided? If you love your children so much why send them to die with bombs strapped to them? That's love? So the Clerics can't do that for themselves? The need to talk others to do their murders? Keep their hands clean eh???

Please answer me this honestly and without twisting words. I am seriously bothered by how people are so ready to follow a religion and they know nothing about it. That goes for ALL religions. What justifies Islam's Holy War? The word of God Through MEN?!?! EVERYTHING WROUGHT BY THE HANDS OF MAN IS FLAWED! Even Jesus who was just a prophet had his teachings twisted and others made a god of him sinning against their very own religion putting others before their God!

I am sure all the reasons you hate us and the Jews is because your religious leaders have done nothing but fill your heads with their teachings. Hell, there are Catholics to this day that hate Jews but worship one! Any religion that advocates violence against others for anything other than self defense IS A LIE!

I personally feel the intelligent Islamics are the ones who turn their backs on Mohammad and embrace the real way of peace and that is found within by yourself! You cannot live the journey of others. life is YOUR journey. There are Christians who actually embrace the teachings of Jesus as a prophet and only worship God. These few Christians who do not pray to Jesus should be viewed with more tolerance by Islam for not corrupting teachings similar to your own. But instead all you see is sinners and Islam. Us and them.

Want true peace, cast aside Islam and live for your family and friends. Make a life for yourself that does not have you cowering from fear every day behind a mask of bravery. Leave a world behind our children can be proud of, not placating some pissed off old man who life has passed by because he was too busy trying to make an unseen God happy the way he was told by his forebears.

yes there is such "tolerance" in which i looked up some time ago.it is a form of regional tradition to serve sexual needs to avoid any form of sexual violance. i do not want to offend anyone but it is a form of a brothel system where a known bunch of women are chosen to serve this purpose and with time and ignorance it had fallen victim to exploitation. i hope this info helped.
