JB, I actually haven't said anything about a safe haven. All I've said was that any Jews I know feel free to live anywhere they want. Stop putting words into my mouth and assuming I'm saying what you think Jews are saying.

Then you disagree with Zionism and with s1owhand's many posts about Israel and Jews.

I lived in Germany in my past life and I was trying to warn Jews not to get on the trains.

They ignored me then, as they ignore me in this life.

You are either pro-Zionism or anti-Zionism or you don't care one way or another.

If you don't care one way or another, then why would you even get involved talking about it in the first place?

The Jews have a wonderful tradition of finding humor in everyday life and in scriptures. Jewish children are taught to laugh out loud at the funny parts of the Bible. For example: God promised Abraham and Sarah a son when they were both very old. Both of them laughed at the promise. When their son was born, he was named Isaac, which means "laugh". Today, we find many of our greatest comedians and comedy writers are Jewish for this very reason. Their sense of humor has been honed and encouraged from a very young age.

JB, have fun talking to your sidekick, Optomistic here. I'm done dealing with you for the night, as all you're doing is saying people have said things that weren't said. Too difficult to have a rational, adult conversation that way. Have fun!

There are some very funny incidents in the Bible, Old and New Testament.

I have read it so many times.
SO long ago.
The humor does not jump out at
me, in my memory.

I'd be glad to post a couple if you would like to read them.

Start with the funniest.

I really like this one. The King of Israel was in disfavor with God. He sought prophets to tell him how he could prevail against his enemies, but they were all giving messages from lying spirits.



The idea of this king wearing a helmet with horns and running at armies to kill them with the horns, is awesomely ludicrous.

This is from the new testament. It exemplifies "Be careful what you wish for". Seven Jewish brothers were so impressed with the miracles of Jesus' followers that they wanted to replicate them. So they took to traveling around trying to cast out evil spirits, until they finally found a possessed man.

All three stooges were Jewish! Celebrate by eating a cream pie and slapping someone upside the head.
