Hm idont knowhy some people wish to say itscamers the moment you mention marriage. Perhabscams do exist. However i am realya single woman in search of a lifepartner to have children with.and yes idid mention mariage fromthe start,cuz i want gyus who dont want mariage to go havun somewherelse. I figure we have 4groups of people on mingle, thosearcing for mariage partners(these people can chose a suitabl partnr and remain faithful4life),those looking for dates to havun(some people enjoy fun and variety and canever setl with one woman),and those who want penpals and chat online.(wanting socializing without emotiol atachment)and then we have the group who r not realy sure what they want. Well, there are scammers who do try to contact people here (and on other sites), who use the idea of marriage as a lure to get people interested. Usually they're looking for a way into the country or a way to get people to send them money so they can (heh heh) move to be with their new loved one.

I don't think I've ever seen any of them in the forums, though. It's always through e-mail. I may have seen it once or twice on IM, too, but not in the forums. It would be very unusual for a true scammer to join a site and then take the time to make multiple forum posts for the purpose of running a scam. They're usually more "hit and run" than that.

My first impression was "she is a scammer wanting some poor smuck to send money to move her to the usa " i have seen that so many times its not even funny ....However marriage does not mean the same thing to every one thats clear ......I would give any thing to have a wife but not a woman that has been married before if they broke the first agreement bet there not going to keep the second besides i dont think god will bless many second marriages .But i wish you the very best you are not ulgy so long as your pretty on the inside you will have no problems

People are suspicious of scammers because there ARE lots of scammers out there.

I have never been maried and believe that marriage is staying together forever,thus i would carefuly selecthe one i believe to be able to spend a lifetime with. hey nice, you have to be very careful with this decision of yours because you can't read someone's mind to know what they actually need from you so becareful else it result to something worst than divorce, mind you those who are ready for marriage are very few but pretenders are more than many.

'...marriage is supposed to be a lifelong promise of love and support'. This is a responsible submission about marriage and it's really nice.

What I don't understand is why the both of you just can't relocate to the United State, or Canada which ever one you want to be in and start from there? Why or you starting from a dating site to find marriage? How can you get to really know someone thousands of miles away?

I know first hand from having a friend who married a guy over seas how things can end up. She is an American, she met him online and he was from Pakastan. He said he wasn't looking for a free ride to America but that wasn't true. She talked with him for 8 months online via chats, and phone. She fell head over heals in love with this guy. I kept asking her why search for a husband so far away, you can't tell me there aren't decent men here that would love to marry you, but the excuses she made weren't valid. To make a long story short, she went over there and after 2 days married the guy, came back to the states without him and it took 2 yrs and a lot of her money to get him over here.

After getting him here, he begin to abuse her verbally and physically. He caused problems in her work place and with her family. It became awful in the end. Not to say that you are like these two that I just mentioned because I don't know you. But you have to understand why some people are cautious when it comes to people in other countries looking for love specially in the US. And you should be careful as well because not all men in the US are perfect.

I don't think you can always make the best of a marriage if your partner is an alcoholic, drug user, or an abuser. You obviously have not experienced any of this or you wouldn't have made such a niave statement.
