No one is mocking Jesus, and if you think they are you're just displaying your own total inability to comprehend what issues people are addressing.

Moreover, it would actually be impossible to mock Jesus directly since there does not exist any direct writings from the man named Jesus. No one even claims to have any such writings.

No one is "mocking" anything in any case.

All they are going is QUESTIONING the validity of various claims, and as Peter_Pan had already pointed out even the authors of various books of the Bible suggested that their readers do this very thing.

Therefore, to question the Bible is not "mocking" anything, but rather it's actually conforming to the behavior that has been suggested by various authors of these very tales.

So if you think anyone is "mocking" anything, then clearly you do not understand what people are even suggesting, or questioning.

but, out of common courtesy, I won't mock what you believe. Faith is something I envy but, would never accept for myself.

Abra, he may have thought that the posting of my inner scriptures was "mocking" Jesus or "Christ."

I guess he did not catch the conversation about scripture being within the heart.

I guess he thinks there is a law that only Christians are allow to quote scripture and that scripture has to be from the Bible. Why do they think they are the ones who get to make all the rules?

I was actually showing my defiance against them thinking that they have the authority to make all the rules about who quotes who and from where.

Truly, a lot of people have written their own "scriptures". And they certainly weren't doing it to mock Jesus. In fact, many of them wrote their "scriptures" long before Jesus was ever said to have lived.

There is nothing wrong with people creating, writing, or even numerically indexing their own thoughts.

In fact, we should have all been taught to do that as young children and create our own life-long scriptures. Just keep in mind that we can actually update them as we grow and learn.

In fact, most Christians probably aren't aware of this but this is actually part of the traditions of Wicca. They call their personal scriptures a "Book of Shadows". It's a beautiful concept.

The reason that most Christians have most likely never heard of the Wiccan's "Book of Shadows" is because unlike the Christians, the Wiccans don't go around trying to ram their scriptures down the throats of other people.

But some of them will "share" their writings with others if asked. Although some prefer to keep their own scriptures private as well. So there's no standard. Each Wiccan is a free spirit.
