Topic: No sex!! Is that ok with you? | |
---|---|
I am just assuming that by "romance" it is implying a deep spiritual connection that involves mental conections and physicalities such as, a deep embrace, holding hands...kissing with passion......
but, no sex? KICK YOUR OWN *** TO THE CURB! If you want a relationship where you can share everything but not put out, that is what we have friends for. If you wanna have a lover that you dont wanna make love to.....I wish you luck...sounds like you want to skip to the third year of marriage. I will give that whole scene a big fat PASS! I demand nakeytude, sweatiness, the sounds of bellies slappin, quiffs, gweeps, gooch hickeys and occassionally petty squabbles over whose turn it is to go get the wet washcloth and squeegee. |

I dont kiss, pet, or feel quite the same for just a 'friend.'
The feelings are differen than a friendship, the emotional intimacy, the bond,,,,its hard to explain, but I can DEFINITELY still be in an intimate emotional relationship that is more than a friendship without the sex |

As much as I would love to say yes ...
I feel profound desire for many women, I admire them so much, and everything says yes ... I mean I feel like hugging them, they are beautiful and make my head turn everytime they pass and they are wonderful to me... often I wonder...do I have desire for them...and it's no, and even though I imagine being in a relation with these women who are perfect to me, the answer is no, it just doesn't have that zing to it, it's not compelling...in the way that that my body reacts to the person...and again even if I feel the zing, it won't interest me unless the other qualities are there I wish I could say yes |

there are SO many activities that are fulfilling besides the sex,,,, True. True, true. 1. Watching a movie. 2. Eating a hot dog. 3. Going to the ball game. 4. Talking to a friend. 5. Snorting cocaine. 6. Listening to nice music. 7. Reading a book. 8. Driving to beautiful destinations. 9. Singing around the campfire. 10. Roasting marshmellows. 11. Aghh.l.. heart attack. 12. Looking at the visible area of nurses' legs. 13. Watching the ceiling day in and day out. 14. Listening to visitors sob uncontrollably. 15. Ah, here we go. Good day, Mr. Death. |

Anolther way of saying the above list is "death is the ultimate fulfilment of life."

Aye, aye, Lord Krupa. I used to collect characters like you in the seventies. Where the hell did you scrounge up an Iggy Pop action figure? |

Take it from someone who knows. When you go long enough without sex, it becomes something separate from the idea of a relationship. Sure, sex is something that should, in time, be a part of any healthy, loving relationship. However, it isn't what a person really wants from a relationship, a relationship is more about other things. Do I miss having sex? Well, I would miss it more if I could remember it, but what I miss most is feeling close to someone. I miss having someone to talk with. I miss having someone hug me when I'm happy or sad. I miss sharing a laugh, or a knowing look. I miss seeing someone smile just at the sight of me. I miss having someone get excited because just the two of us are doing something together. Sex, well it can be found anywhere. They outright sell it in Nevada and Amsterdam, but it isn't the same as a relationship. It isn't even the most important part. Thanks for the explanation. |
