I learned from an electrical engineer yesterday that an upside-down power outlet actually is done intentionally and it means that the outlet is controlled by a switch on the wall. And all this time I thought we had sloppy electricians.

Well, congratulations, by the way, on using solipsistic and deterministic in the same compound sentence." regarding my daughters eyes ( blue ) a lady at the store ' look at those eyes,, she looks like she should be in my family not yours,,,,' I must add, she said it very politely and Im sure she had no intention of being offensive,,,, |

so it must be some sort of an electrical guy communication..since it seems like only electricians know it. Like a code language. I wonder what else secret codes I got in the house... Now I'm scared of a particular switch that doesn't seem to do anything and can't figure out what it is for...another secret ..probably transfers electricity to the electrician's house or fries the neighbor's cat.
