Meh, my point is not to assign blame or fault ...
Just you brought it up and reminded me I need to email Pancakes and explain my inability to participate now; he knows how much I deeply loved that thread ... Also, others that are my dear friends can perhaps read this and understand my future absence ... Besides ... Pancake might love those pics, he is a big horror fan ... 'Tisn't my thread ... So, fair dinkum ... NO harm, no foul ... Just locked me out, can't see me ever returning, yeah? I'll be fine, I'm an artiste and art lover ... So much art in the world to view, still ... Oh, well ... *heavy sigh* |

Actually, it was my very favourite thread until the current page, now I dare not look again ... Yeah, those were a bit much for me and I'm not nearly as sensitive. I can't go back. Yeah, I'm actually thinkin' I NEVER get those images back out, no do overs ... DEEPLY disturbing ...  ... Crucified me!
It was the girl with the bat that was the bad one for me. 
Yeah, that was gruesome - All the ones w/ the 'lil girl' got me, beloved daughter here, and all ... AND!? As a person who really did lose her Mother as a young child on a bed in my arms!? The roaches crawling out the Mother's mouth, witnessed by the daughter? WAY TOO REAL and CLOSE!!! Plus, my child has a certain PTSD that had her seein' just such images of me dead, in graves, as bones, etc. - for the last 6 years, completely unable to sleep ... HAUNTED! Only western medication got us off that ride a year ago, now ... She can finally sleep on her own, w/out any meds or help ... BRUTAL stuff on my particular psyche - And I'd SO loved that thread ...

well today, sagacous - u should check out her current postings on plastic's passing time thread Actually, it was my very favourite thread until the current page, now I dare not look again ... I just don't think I can go back ... Those dark, horror images concerning Mother - Child? They really got under my skin in quite a bad way ... Even made me cry! She does load some amazingly beautiful images there, as does everyone ...

My Mother was also a Felix Unger in Norwegian Scandinavian Drag!
We had to completely clean the house, daily; no friends could come inside ... (Which was fine, it was the 60s; we ran free like wild Banshees) I actually got a spankin' once for eating a stalk of celery and a carrot in the Living Room once ... I've finally recovered, as my child is a dedicated Oscar, that has finally seen me succumb to my inner slob! I'm finally out of the closet ...  ... My Mum must turn in her grave, oops!
