Topic: I was watching the Faux news station again this morning..... | |

The problem here is that everyone of the people asked for their papers needs to ask the cop why he is targeting them. And then file a law suit on the answer because.........wait for it........ THERE IS NO WAY TO "SUSPECT" A PERSON IS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN WITHOUT RACIALLY PROFILING THEM. Got it? Good. So the law in Arizona is racist and there is no way around it. That is a different argument than the one you originally presented, and if you have a problem with that law then why don't you have a problem with the federal law which specifically DOES allow race to be used as a component? |

They said that the president doesn't care and has never cared about what Americans want. What Americans are they referring to? The few who actually believe Fox News Network is real news? They used a Rasmussen poll but skewed the results. For example: Rasmussen asked if people thought that action should be taken on the immigration issue and 60% said yes. Faux said that showed that people supported the Arizona law. Not. We support action being taken on the issue but not what Arizona is doing as it is a racist action. Obama stated that the law has the potential to be discriminatory. He was being nice. How can you identify an illegal on sight and not be racist? How can you tell you are hearing Faux news followers? They call him "the one", "the anointed one" for a few examples and that signals the information provided following it is not the truth so check it out before buying into it. Just a little advice for your own credibility. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the PRESIDENT Obama? Isn't this thread about what Fox News "said" about THE PRESIDENT?? The opening statement said that Fox news said the OBAMA (the president) does not care and has never cared about Americans. The O.P also said that Fox news call "him" (OBAMA?) "THE ANOINTED ONE" OR "THE ONE." I have heard Obama called the anointed one, so I have to assume that the O.P. is referring to Obama. So I don't understand how I could possibly be "off topic" to mention Obama. You are not off topic. I am the OP and you are okay by me. |

Okay so how do you identify a possible alien on sight? ![]() ![]() ![]() Aliens are grey and have those big almond shaped eyes. Comprehension seems to be a problem for more than one 'contributor' ... |

as well as this When asked specifically about the chief provision of the Arizona law, support is even higher. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters believe a police officer should be required to check the immigration status of anyone stopped for a traffic violation or violation of some other law if he suspects the person might be an illegal immigrant. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/immigration/55_favor_immigration_law_like_arizona_s_for_their_state Considering that is the Federal law already and already implemented in all states, it shows that Americans are in favor of the Federal law, not the one in Arizona which states that a person can stop anyone they feel on sight is an illegal. Not the same thing. You are very narrow minded and wrong. |

Like the original AZ law before it was updated allows for race to be considered as part of the over all profile. That IS racial profiling. The original AZ bill was modeled after the federal bill. |

You're quite notorious for not doing so yourself I won't bother if that's the fairytale you believe then that's what you believe. So let's say that federal government doesn't practice racial profiling, neither does this law. It in fact specifically says it is against the law to use it. We all know that AZ has been using it, so why would you oppose a law that reigns AZ law enforcement in? |

Arizona's law is here to stay. If you don't live in Arizona your opinion is feeble, weak, and doesn't matter. Obummer, Holder (I can only imagine what he's holding), Napolotano who BTW was worthless as our governor and is now a joke as head of home land security, have not read the bill so like ALL liberals they are condemning something they no nothing about. There have already been two law suits dropped because they don't have a leg to stand on and the rest will soon follow. Have a wonderful day ![]() |
