Fox news still portrayed it inaccurately and with malice.

Along with their portrayal of the presidents words about the law in Arizona.

The president is being nice in describing what is going on in Arizona.

Facts, examples, and links, please ...

it looks to me like they skewed it by 5%. Still (according to the poll) the majority of the US (55%) is in favor of immigration laws like this for their state.

55% is not that many considering that half of them don't realize the law is racist.

Then, to be what's known as 'logically consistent', you'd also need to claim that the FEDERAL law, upon which the AZ law is modeled almost word-for-word, is ALSO racist.

The federal law does not state that a person believed to be illegal on sight can be held if no proof of papers are provided.

So stop spreading lies.

Oh. You HAVE read and understood BOTH pieces of legislation, right ... ? That's the implication of your statement ...

I'm going by the Rasmussen report, as stated in the OP. Not by Fox news. It seems, according to them, that the majority is in favor of it

We support action being taken on the issue but not what Arizona is doing as it is a racist action.

who is we?

Almost every American is "we".

Almost every American wants action taken on the illegal immigration problem. The ones who are not racist do not agree with the Arizona law.l

Under this principle you could make a case that requiring a Visa is also racist. Making people show that they are allowed to enter the country has to have some sort of racism behind it.. otherwise it wouldn't be required when getting off an airplane or ship..

Obama DOESN'T care about Americans. Several libs will attest to that. He just cares about making himself look good to the other countries.

not according to the Rasmussen report that the OP is talking about. That is directly from their site. So it's not almost every American

If I am stop for a traffic violation and I can't prove who I am (maybe I didn't bring a DL or something) I will be held until I can be proven.

Profiling can happen regardless of what it is about. But from what I have read of the law, it doesn't advocate profiling

That is not true at all.

The racism in the Arizona bill is that an illegal can be identified on sight. How do you do that with illegals from all over the world?

I posted from the Rasmussen report itself. Not from Fox or any other media source. It was from the horse's mouth.

The percentages I posted (again according to the report) says the majority is in favor of it.

I support it and I'm not a racist.

As Hussein convinced me, in his speech while standing next to Mexico's President Cabron.

He will not have federal law enforced. He will continue his attempts to grant Amnesty to the 20+ million Illegal Aliens.

Hussein only cares about the special interests. Just like Bush.

You proved that Fox lied. That was helpful to the OP

I read it and posted it directly.

55% favor passage of such a law in their own state.

Sixty-nine percent (69%) of voters believe a police officer should be required to check the immigration status of anyone stopped for a traffic violation or violation of some other law if he suspects the person might be an illegal immigrant.

not sure which part of my post is untrue. You were talking about the Rasmussen report in the OP...that is my source

slaphead I said it was skewed a bit.

But I said, also, that the majority (according to the poll) is in favor of it.

They are in favor of some action, not the law in Arizona itself so that is also a twist of information.

but isn't that what you are saying is racist? and it is in the AZ law (which is what we are talking about)

The poll was about the AZ law not the federal law. So that is true from the site itself.

They didn't ask about the federal law, regardless of it is similar or the exact same as the federal law.
