True Romance is a classic (IMO). Torgo talked about Pitt being hilarious in it, but man....I love the scene between Walken and Hopper. Pure genius between two great actors. Also, how can you not love Gary Oldman talking like he is a black man?

"Sympathy For Lady Vengeance". The conclusion in Chan-wook Park's vengeance trilogy. Better than "Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance"; not as good as "Oldboy".

Pontypool - One of the most original films dealing with zombies I've seen in a long time...if Orson Welles' War of the Worlds radio broadcast was about zombies, this would be it. A zombie virus spreads through the English language- spoken words not only contaminates others, but is also used by the zombies to find their victims. The majority of the movie takes place in a small radio station, what we hear comes from the DJ talking to the outside world.

Tenderness - What a pastoral study of a psychopathic~serial killer, youth, mental health, murder, suicide, pain, angst, pain vs. pleasure ...
Layers and layers, great character development ... Every single layer lives up to the title ... Tenderness is woven throughout like some meditation, as if the main character ... Tenderness is a multi~faceted stone in this one ... Loved it, big thumbs up! |

Night Train - What a turkey that should have been a jewel ... All the elements were possible, but it is DOA ...
I suggest poor casting, miss it! |

Re watched the late 80's horror movie Prison, with Viggo Mortensen...not only is it a good horror movie, but it's a good prison flick. Lane Smith gives one of the best performances as a prison warden I've seen- even Warden Norton from Shawshank would be afraid of him.

Bronson - Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn 3 and 1/2 stars , The Football Factory - Directed by Nick Love 4 out of 5 stars and Rise of the Footsoldier - Directed by Julian Gilby 4 and 1/2 stars of 5. In my opinion all well worth watching

I am watching the new live action G.I. Joe movie. It's awesome, I love the undersea base and the Submarines.
I would totally reccommend this to anyone. I saw it in the theaters 10 or 11 times and when I first got it on dvd I watched so many times that it screwed up the DVD (whch I didn't know could happen:( ) |
