Topic: why would a God have the "need" to create | |
---|---|
why would a omnipotent omniscience omniscient omni-whatever entity lack in it's existence that it would have a need to create ...the addiction of "want" and "need" are for those that lack control over themselves or their environment ..so why would a God have the need to create ... .... this is one of those questions that when asked no believer seem to be able to answer it

Who said God "needed" to create us?
Your question tries to answer itself by drawing a conclusion that is not supported. You have no evidence to indicate that there is "need" involved. |

"Ijcc" ..believers claim that God creates ...God either need to create or God didn't need to create but felt the need to create anyway .. ...the question ask if there is any other options beside the "need" or "want" ..if you have no other options then it logical to conclude that God has"need" which brings us back to the original question ...why would a God that according to believers supposely want for naught have "need" |

You seem to be stuck on the "need" factor. Haven't you ever done something that you didn't "need" to do? The first thing that we need to understand about God...is that we only have a human understanding of someone who isn't human. Therefore...we just have to realize that we CAN'T understand him. His ways are not our ways. To assume that God thinks like you or me.....or to think we could really understand His motives....is very much like being a two year old trying to understand the actions of its parent. So really....the answer to your question is that we can't possibly know fully the mind of God. My suggestion is to open a dialog....and get to know Him. My best guess is....ask yourself why does any person seek to create a new life? Why would it be all that different for God? Gotta scram....I'll catch ya all later!! |

Good answer... How 'bout He wanted to share love "Ted" if the universe is supposely God then wouldn't God only be sharing with himself .... also to "want" to share love... doesn't explain why God has the "need" to do so |

Ask him yourself. "BigGlenn" ..I've notice that if God's believers can't answer the question neither can he |

I think the question should be:
why did god have a need to create Funches so that he would grow up ask questions like why his creator has a NEED to create. |

he was probobly lonely! he probobly still is!

It's so good to see the level of intellect on this site has remained at such a LOW level...otherwise it would blow Darwin's theory of evolution that we evolved over time from apes.
'Cause...It sure doesn't make a very good argument for INTELLIGENT design... |

"ljcc" ...this question is not about knowing the mind of God ..it's only logical to think that a God has no needs which usually comes with the claim of being eternal.. the questions is merely asking so why do this God have needs |

"ljcc" ...this question is not about knowing the mind of God ..it's only logical to think that a God has no needs which usually comes with the claim of being eternal.. the questions is merely asking so why do this God have needs Well...first we would have to establish that God does indeed "need". And until you do that....we cannot proceed with discovering why that need exists. So I tell you what....show me the evidence that God needs something...anything...and THEN we can discuss why. |

I think the question should be: why did god have a need to create Funches so that he would grow up ask questions like why his creator has a NEED to create. "Tribo" yes that a pretty cool way to re-phrase it but it still comes to the same question ...why do God have a "need" |

God created us with Free Will... when we discovered sin we found the difficulties of sinfulness... covetousness and emptiness...want and need. We are always looking for something else, something new, something better because we can't really find anything imperfect that fills the God-shaped void in us.
