why is that? Because of the candidate you've chosen. Ohio might be a lockdown. No longer a swing state... not in this election. Ohio is BLUE! Surely you must be aware of that. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/map/polling/ If people voted with their heart instead of voting based on polls Ralph Nader would be in the lead. I don't vote with the herd.

You did read my OP, yes? What is the fun if everyone agreed? I think that people have a tendency to just vote for the person in the lead and NOT with the candidate that best suites them-lack of backbone. My son's class did a great project the other day dealing with the election. They first did a mock election with everyone voting with an exact copy of the ballot in MA. Obama won 68% McCain 27% and the others got the remaining. The teacher then handed out a survey that related the kids views to a candidates platform without listing who stood for what. McCain won 57% Obama 32% and the others go the remaining. The teacher sent the survey stuff home and I'm apparently a Conservative/Rainbow party voter.

Put God back in the equation and then lets see......and I know I will get guff for this....but oh well....I truly believe it...because in the end their will be no government....Christ will be the only government.....

Everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how off the wall it is. Of course I believe in seperation of church and state so I wouldn't want Christ in government just in my life.

I'm sorry... but anyone who thinks this election is actually about the candidate.... Well, that would mean people are way dumber and more ignorant than I thought. Correct. I just don't think this is the time for "Big Ideas" from someone that has a history of doing a whole lot of nothing. If Obama is elected, I see life as I know it changing dramatically for the worse. I also see nothing good globally coming out of him being elected either. Just my opinion though.
