I'm sorry... but anyone who thinks this election is actually about the candidate....

Well, that would mean people are way dumber and more ignorant than I thought.

Correct.

I just don't think this is the time for "Big Ideas" from someone that has a history of doing a whole lot of nothing.

If Obama is elected, I see life as I know it changing dramatically for the worse. I also see nothing good globally coming out of him being elected either.

Just my opinion though.

Wait wait wait... woah. You agree it is not about the candidate, then do nothing but talk about the candidate you don't like? laugh

Too funny!

I talked about how I thought he would affect me personally and our nation as a whole.

I agreed that it wasn't about the candidate, but about the the people and our Nation as a whole.

Didn't you end the OP by saying that you were voting for Obama? I'm guessing that is because in your opinion he will be more likely to point the country in the direction you think we need to go to benefit you personally and our Country as a whole.

*Note: I never said I didn't like him, I'm just not voting for him that's all.

Yes, I listed who I was going to vote for... as an aside from my OP, added at the end. Footnote.

You are really cracking me up. If you understood my OP, we would not be having this ...... umm.... discussion?

I wonder why it is that so many people are misunderstanding your OP????????

Because people are concrete and do not pay attention or think about what they read. Or they do read it, but take from it only what they want to hear, and totally disregard the message the writer had.

There. I said it.

Oh, and I forgot drift the thread when there is nothing left to say.

people only hear what they want to hear. And they have these tunnel vision goggles on so that everything they hear is tinted either liberal or conservative.

That's why half the people on here call me a pointy headed liberal and the other half call me a heartless conservative

Personally I like beer goggles instead of tunnel vision goggles.

And now I see why alot of people who want to vote for Obama have the desire to "alienate" those who wish that God was back in the equation. But ah yes......those few carpet munching liberals who, butthole pleasure seekers, and radical environmentalists will have none of that. Yeah, let's fear God cause the Christians want to tell us what to do. Let's "alienate" those who believe in Christianity and make them feel like utter s*it, cause in all honesty, that is what has happened in this country.

Just because someone wants this doesn't mean they stupid or are politically ignorant. I mean, if you are an agnostic, fine. Cool with me. If you worship Casper the Friendly ghost, have at it. Your right to worship God, any God, or not any God. But because someone holds a belief in the Christian God, and truly wants God back into the equation...you are gonna blast them for it?

I love it when morons say the whole "Seperation of Church and State" and do not know what it means. Read the damn Constitution! And, if this offended anyone....suck my balls.
